The MSG is one of the most fascinating pieces to come out of the Bounty Hunters set. For only 26 points you get a +12 ATK for 20 DAM, you get bodyguard, evade, loner, bringing it to a +16! She has melee reach 2 so she doesnt need to base a character and give up her evade. If she hits, which she usually will, you get a chance to paralize yoru opponents big guns, and stealth will also keep from being hit form non-accurate shooters. She is a bodygaurd that will be hard to pick off.

What a package! most 30-40 pt jedi cant do half of this! So why is this awesome aresenal of power only 26 points? Well, for starters, she only has a single attack, so that slows her offense down a bit, but most of it is because for all she does, she only has 60 HP, so even with all of her abilities, she is going to be short lived.

100pts: 60 HP in a world dominated by 30 dam pieces? Yeah right!

150: You might find a spot for one of her here, mostly for the bodyguard with offense, but the 60 HP is just too low.

200pts: Here she is very playable, but again she will be mostly a fun piece because of that shallow HP. Lets look at some of the best ways to use her:

General Windu - Giving the MSG double attack is just crazy. If you can get two within striking range of a vader or bane, then you have four chance to paralize their beatstick! I have played a squad with Mace and four of the MSGs. It works very well if you can get everyone up to the fight in one piece because of all of the paralysis, but that is the trick. With only 60 HP they can go down pretty quick, so run them in pairs so they can share the damage and keep each other alive.

Thrawn - here she only has the single attack, but her stats become godly for 26 points! She will be a non-unique with a base 21 defense and a 25 in cover. Even the almighty Boba Fett is going to have a hard time dealing with her. Her base attack will be a +15 or a +19 with loner. Who wouldn't want a +19 ATK and 21 DEF for only 26 points? Not only will her stats protect her, but you can save her for the end and use mas to swap her in for a chance to paralize. Then get her out of there, so you only lose a 5pt stormie instead of her 26 pts.

CS Yoda - here she will get more protection from shooters as she has an extra chance to reroll her evade save.

Attack: +12

Special Abilities:
Bodyguard
Evade
Loner +4 Attack if no allies are within 6 squares.

Rating:
100 pt Squad: 3/5
150+ pt: 4/5

Pros: Lots of melee options. Paralysis has potential against stronger opponents. Great Defense and attack score for non-unique. Can close in relative safety with evade. Any commander that give hher additional abilities is a bonus.
Cons: At 24 points, you’ll be using her mostly with squads above 150 pts., but she’s still playable in a 100 pt. format.
