LOA loves locations.  Case in point...here we have another card which helps LOA get their locations on the field faster.  That makes this card a very good card for any LOA deck or LOA varient deck.  However keep in mind that this card will probably be sourced.  Basically there is not much to say about this card.  That is because there is no strategy to it...if you play LOA and have this card then play it...otherwise trade it - plain and simple.

LOA constructed deck - 3.5/5.0 ....This is a good card for LOA

The Demon's Head

For our last card this week, we look at a huge asset for the struggling League of Assassins. With the addition of Merlyn, having locations under your control becomes very important. The Demon's Head is an excellent location tutor for LoA, only requiring you to exhaust a LoA character and then replace The Demon's Head with the location of your choice.
Mountain Stronghold is great when you need to grab your Ra's Al Ghul, and since you'll probably want to team up LoA with another team, being able to grab Metropolis when you need it is a huge advantage. Team up with Gotham Knights, and you have Batcave, Clocktower, and GCPD Headquarters at your fingertips.
Since you have to play it from your resource row, you'll want to be wary of New Gods decks running The Source, but since TDH has a threshold of 2, you'll be able to use it once or twice before your opponent can flip The Source. Likely to be a 4-of card for LoA decks.

In Limited, you've only got two LoA characters to choose from, but being able to team them up with Metropolis, or put one on the field long enough to grab the one great location your were able to get your hands on is a huge advantage. In a mixed event, this is even more powerful, with more LoA members and more locations to choose from. If you see this in your first pack though, you've got a hard choice to make.

Dawn Yoshi The League of Assassins. Ra's Al Ghul. An already powerful character tutor location. Now League of Assassins get a powerful location tutoring plot twist, and man oh man, this card makes Ra's Al Ghul and his controlled land shine.

The League has always been a unique team with a unique theme: locations. However, many people would not attempt to use Ra's Al Ghul's group since locations are unique and because the team has some annoying loyalty issues. Well, location issues aren't a problem anymore with The Demon's Head. The cost for using this plot twist is hardly worth mentioning, and its effect allows you to put any location from your deck face down into your resource row (replacing The Demon's Head, which goes to the KOed pile). Tutor effects are good. Tutor effects that give you instant access to any location you could need is great. This is just the card the League needed to get a push into tournament play. In fact, a Brotherhood/Assassins deck has already been shown off in the top 8 of a 10k Championship! Finally Ra's get some well deserved respect! =D

In limited, you take this only if you're rare drafting. Otherwise, it's the last card you should be getting.
