The Fantastic Four sure do get a lot of love, being their 3rd time being printed and all…

I like this card. A little late for draw power, but still good. It’s not a card you want to play when you have the initiative, you usually want to do a lot of attack on turn 4. But off initiative, a 9 defense is superb and with a superb effect. Not much else to say…

In sealed, it’s awesome. Not only do you have a wall, you have an accelerator.

Holy wow!  When did Vs. pick up an 'activate' symbol??  Cool beans.  Other than that, this card is mearly AWSOME.  Turn 4 average stats are 7/7.  Mr. Fantastic is a 5/9.  While he isn't going to be a very offensive character, that 9 defense makes him kinda hard to kill without the use of plot twists.  His activated ability, though, is simply insane.  Apparently, Upper Deck Entertainment REALLY wanted to speed up the enviroment, because Reed here will make it into ALOT of decks.  Simply turn him sideways, look at your top three, put one into hand, and the other at the bottom of the deck.  I really don't see that as being a big drawback.  In Vs, card draw WAS very hard to come by, but with this guy (who is only uncommon), Ego Gems, and other cards, its becoming VERY common.  In short, you will most likely want to play this Mr. Fantastic whenever you can.

Sealed: 5/5  Grab him, play him.  He'll help you hit your curve, or get that one needed plot twist.

Constructed: 5/5  Excellent.  Play him alot.  I can only immagine what this guy will be like in an old school Doom deck.  Sure, he's turn 4, but so what??
jajais4u Mr. Fantastic

Wow, Reed. There really is only one bad version of this guy (Leader). Even he wasn't that bad. This guy is freakin broke! Not good, better than great, this guy is made broken. They forgot to add a pay endurance or discard a card effect. He is just freakin broke. Let's be real. 9 defense, range, Stretch Out, Unstable Molecular Suit, Against All Odds (all modern mind you). Lucky he isn't backup or he'll be completely broke. There really isn't much of a downside to this guy. To the guys complaining about his attack, shut up and think for a minute, "Should I really be able to stun back using this broke effect?" He actually can go right in most new F4 decks. I'll be honest, I'm building a completely beat-down version of F4, and I still wanna use this guy.

Sealed - 5 (You keep him. First pick most of the time.)

Constructed - 5 (Free card and wall. What more can I say.)
