Crisis Preview
Vengeance Is Yours!
by Scott Gerhardt

April 20, 2006

We're back this week with the first of 2 new Infinite Crisis preview cards. Now of course if these previews aren't quite enough for you, we recommend going to the Infinite Crisis Sneak Preview Tournament. If you're in Southern California, the great people at www.ShuffleAndCut.com are holding a preview tournament in conjunction with SCGE on Sunday, April 30th. Registration starts around 9:30am. The location is:

Shuffle & Cut Games
11525 La Mirada Blvd
La Mirada, CA 90638

You can call us at (562)-946-5894 for any additional information.

Now down to the subject at hand. I'll start by giving out a new keyword definition – Vengeance. Simply put, something with Vengeance will have it's Vengeance ability trigger when it becomes stunned. Just a little way of giving your opponent something on your way out. Today we have a very basic, and very solid little Vengeance character.

Here we have a simple 3 drop with Flight and Range that can cause your opponent some real problems in the early game. There isn't too much I can say about this card that isn't obvious. Polaris may get stunned, but he can shut down an opponent for the remainder of an attack step. Nothing too special, but things that win often aren't that special – they just do their thing.

We've got a fun one coming next week – check back on the 25th for my second preview.

Until next time, keep playing!
