Latro’s Shifting Sword

A disappointing weapon, but more of a taste of things to come, I think. 4 is too much to pay for a weapon that only has 3/2. Annihilator only costs 2 and has unpreventable damage. The dual wield is good, but the cheaper strike isn’t good enough to warrant such a steep price. On the up side, the fact that dual wield is now built-in to weapons is excellent, I just hope that all of them are not so overcosted as this one. A cheap striker to go alongside Krol Blade/Perdition’s Blade would be insane.

Constructed 2/5

Sealed 3/5

Casual 3.5/5

Latro's Shifting Sword

Weapon – Sword

Class: Hunter, Rogue, Warrior

Cost: 4

Attack: 3

Strike Cost: 2

Your hero has dual wield.
You pay 2 less to strike with other Swords.

This card seriously has some potential, striking with 3 for 2 and giving the right to use another weapon (sword duh) and you have to pay 2 less to strike with that is nice, very nice indeed.

The options are limitless, so go crazy.

Sealed: 2/5
Constructed: 4/5
Casual: 5/5
Raid: 2/5

Red Comet Latro's Shifting Sword

Weapons with dual wield built in are good. Not amazingly good but decent especially if they're all going to be like this.

That's 3-4 cards you can omit because you no longer have to main deck dual wield (If you opt to replace a weapon as well which you probably should. )

Certain decks might chose to utilize the actual Dual Wield card though simply because it's cheaper or it supports their strategy better.

This preview cards for Fires of Outland are pretty freakin' cool... todays:

Latro's Shifting Sword

4 Cost, 3 ATK (Melee), 2 Strike

Weapon- Sword, Melee (1)

Hunter, Rogue, Warrior

Your hero has dual wield.

You pay 2 less to strike with other swords.

Wowzers... 4 cost is a bit pricey for 3 ATK and 2 Strike normally, but the free Dual Wield, and lower cost to strike with other swords is great.  As its noted in other places, if you equip 2 Latro's Shifting Swords, they negate each others strike costs, so you can strike for 3, twice, for free.  Not too shabby at all.  And on top of that, the art work is pretty darned cool.

Sealed: 3/5  Not a bad weapon, but you most likely won't get alot of use out of its abilities in sealed.

Constructed: 3/5

Casual: 4/5  Fury Warriors in casual PVP for the win!  :D

Raid: 3/5  Not great if you are tanking, but rogues can get some extra milage out of this card in raids.  :)
