Top 10 List of Non-YGO Duelists, by Noble Paladin Top 10 List of Non-YGO Duelists, by Noble Paladin This is a list of duelists from my FF.NET fic, Force of Darkness, hear my cry, that are actually characters from other famous animes: 10: Roger Smith: The supreme Machine duelist of the Hellfire Tournament. Like Kuwabara, Roger's main focus is strength, but it is tempered with protection cards and weenie rush factors. His rarest card is Satellite Cannon. Original Anime: Big O 9: Yoko Kurama: Hiei's best-known lieutenant, Yoko focuses on Special Summons, and runs on an engine of Plants and Beasts. His deadliest card is Tribe-Infecting Virus Original Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho 8: Sesshomaru: Hired by Hiei to defeat his enemies, Sesshomaru's deck is built on Guardian Monsters, which, when summoned, are nearly impossible to beat. One of his greatest monsters is Guardian Eatotsu, but one of his best monsters without Guardian requirements is Black Tyranno. Original Anime: Inuyasha 7: Inuyasha: Another dog demon duelist, but unlike Sesshomaru, Inuyasha does not depend on many equip cards. Instead, most of his cards are based in power or luck. His forte is Beasts and Beast-Warriors, and his signature traps are the 6 Sigils (property of The Helldragon) , each capable of blocking a different attribute. Original Anime: Inuyasha 6: Yusuke Urameshi: Yusuke's deck is unique in the fact that it focuses on Spirit monsters, which returns to the user's hand each turn. Because of this effect, his other monsters are primarily defensive in nature, but he does have two offensive Magic cards: Tribute to the Doomed and Harpies Feather Duster. Original Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho 5: Naraku: The lord of demons is one of the most powerful duelists on Earth, and has only been defeated twice in his career. In his duel with Kachikachi (OC of Time Mage) he focused on the FINAL combo, while in his battle with Yami he used his equip Demons. His most powerful card is Diabound God. Original Anime: Inuyasha 4. Kagome Higurashi: A duelist prodigy, and the only one in the tournament using a successful Angel deck. Her strategy involves knocking out all enemy monsters and overwhelming them with offensive power, while defending with Sky Sanctuary. Original Anime: Inuyasha 3: Schwarzvald: This reporter from Paradigm was, unknown to most, a former World Champion Duelist who was defeated by Solomon Mouto in Berlin. In his quest for the truth he turned to Hiei and became his right hand. Seebach's deck operates using 3 cores: Zombie, Pyro, and Sky Fortress Ziggurat. At one point he wielded Chaos Soldier-Envoy of Creation, but lost it to Yami. Original Anime: Big O 2: Botan: The former Grim Reaper of Spirit World is of a class by herself when it comes to dueling. Of all the duelists Hiei defeated she came the closest to winning, and is one of only a few capable of using Nebel Ring successfully. Her deck runs on attack freezing, invincible monsters, direct attacks, and Valkyries. Original Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho 1: Hiei Jagenshi: Hiei is the ultimate dark duelist, with a juggernaut of a deck that only one person has conquered, Yami Yugi. For many years he worked with the Reikai Tantei until he became disillusioned and created his own organization, the Black Shadow. At his ultimate power level he becomes Yami no Hiei, who is without a doubt a dueling machine who could shatter all but the greatest duelist. Hiei's deck is enhanced by the fact that he has the Millennium Eye, and he can use specific cards to his advantage due to it. He has many cards to work with, such as Exodia, Royal Decree, and Inferno Tempest, but the most powerful by far is his hellish Chaos Emperor Dragon, which he uses to demolish all opposition. Some of his cards can even draw strength from the enemy, like his Dark Master Exodia. Original Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho And that's about all.
