Yu-Gi-Oh top ten list of the worst card effects the show has done

This is a list showing the worst card effects the yugioh show has changed and made really dumb.

10: Enemy controller

This card can do virtually anything just by paying 1000 life points. Fist of all, you dont pay life points for that card, second, you dont destroy monsters with that card.

9: Red eyes b. dragon/dark magician

Ok, ok, I know they didnt change these cards but level with me here. Whenever Joey or yugi play these cards, it becomes nearly instant victory. These cards really do suck. Yet everyone seems to cower in fear to them in the show. This would be marked as an even worse card(s) but they didnt really change the effect

8: Amplifier

Yes I know what youre thinking. When was amplifier played? It was played by Espa Roba. (Kinda easily guessed). This cards effect isnt changed so much, thats why its on the low part of the list. In real life you equip it to jinzo and you are allowed to play traps. In the show they do that and increase his attack power by like a 1000 and keeps going or something like that. All I have to say for that is YEAH RIGHT.

7: Shinato, king of a higher plain

This card is just changed to fit the show like the others. In reality he has a faerie meteor crash effect and is 3300. In the show he just has an affect where when he destroys a monster half that monsters defense (or attack, I cant remember which) is deducted from the opposers life points. This card is only higher on the list because its one of those cards that looks strong, but they make the effect worse for yugi to win and that really ticks me off.

-- NOTE: Shinato's effect in the real game IS actually to decrease the opponent's LP by 1/2 the monster's ATK

6: Magic cylinder

This card negates an attack and inflicts damage toward your opponents life points. In the show it sends an attack back at a monster instead of the life points. Not only that but you HAVE to have a magician on the field to play it. This effect stretches the effect like a salesmen stretches the truth of a product. Partial truth is all it is. This is much different but not as ridiculous as some things (if you can believe it) in the show.

5: Multiplication of the ants

This card summons insect tokens for an insect sacrifice. In the show it summons mass numbers (such as multiply). This is the middle card of the list, for it is another stretch by the company, making the show really lame.

4: Final attack orders

This card is supposed to make all monsters go to attack position, which it does in the show to, now it just has an added effect. You and your opponent (in the show) limit your decks to 3 cards each, *lol*, I dont know about you but that made me laugh, lol. Two extremely irrelevant effects in the same card. IT IS SO DUMB!!!!!!!!!!! *lol* again.

3: Multiply

This cards text translated says: Offer one face up kuriboh on your side of the field to summon up to five kuriboh tokens on your side of the field in defense position. In little yugi world the cards effect reads: Use this on a kuriboh and they multiply faster than the number of lawsuits against McDonalds.. (That speaks for itself)

2: Change of heart

If your remember way back in the old days to duelist kingdom (you know, the place where it took them 1 maybe 2 episodes at the max to finish a duel) you should remember when bakura challenged yugi for fun. It turned out the spirit was controlling him and he nearly killed them all. Bakura used change of heart in that duel. Change of heart lets you gain control of one of your opponents monsters for a turn. They made it so all monsters attack each other. Some times they only change the card effect a little, like with enemy controller, but this is way more. Sometimes it just becomes ridiculous

1: Kotodama effect

Maybe no one else remembers but when yugi dueled arkana, arkana used a card named eckto plama which extracted the soul of his monster and fired it at his opponent. When yugi was about to lose the same thing happened to his dark magician and countered the attack, (arkana used eckto plasma on his dark magician). Yugi announced that when there are monsters on the field of the same name, theyre affected in the same way. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! During the duel arkana played soooooooooooooooooo many cards to destroy yugis dark magician and those cards never affected his Dark magician. Also that rule has never been in affect in any other previous duel in the TV show EVER. This is definitely the most ridiculous change by 4 kids entertainment.
