From my experience I've found that these cards have worked wonders. I'm not going to include Chaos Emperor Dragon because this list will be post-ban. 10. Dark Room of Nightmare in my opinion, an absolute staple in burn decks. with all the direct damage you are inflicting, those extra 300's really add up. 9. Mask of the Accursed/Nightmare Wheel These two are practically the same so I'll call it a tie. While 500 points may not seem like a lot, but combined with lava gollum or Mask of Restrict, it's not going anywhere fast 8. Solar Flare Dragon Get two of these pesky dragons on the field and your opponet will hate you. Like with the MOTA, 500 may not seem much but if your opponet can't get rid of them fast, they'll be taking a 1000 at your end phases. Just watch out for Exiled Force. 7. Magic Cylinders I know some may expect Cylinders to be closer to the top but it's really second to Waboku. While it does negetate the attack it's only one attack and Cylinders is not chainable. But that doesn't keep it from being one of the best burner cards. Why activate gravity bind now when you can ram his Summoned Skulls attack straight into their life points? 6.Ceasefire At this point the last couple of cards are so good they impair judgement so forgive me if you have a different opinon. Most people look right at the effect of negating flip effects before they can be even close to activation. Me, I see a potential burner. Since most burn/stall decks keep everyone from attacking, both players with probably be racking up some monsters. On the average, Ceasefire can do a good 2500, often finishing the opponet. 5. Ring of Destruction Another great card many duelists just use for monster removal. But the burn really counts. Blow up a major threat(aside from Jinzo- gravity binds nemisis) and deal equal damage to both players can have a huge influence. Is your opponent attacking you directly? Make him feel the pain as well. Often late game, if you are ahead simply ring a monster and finish him before he can reborn Jinzo. 4. Steath Bird Suffer the Evil bird of death. With 1700 defense, combined with messenger of peace it practically can't die. And a 1000 life point damage is nothing to laugh at. I've had 2-3 of these on the field at one time and the look on your opponets face when you flip your evil birds is priceless. Flip up, inflict, and hide back down. There's nothing greater. 3. Cannon Soldier Like a said, these last cards are so great the order may not be the same in all people's eyes but Cannon Soldier just screams abuse with Scapegoats, DRON, and swarm monsters like Giant Germ. Feel your's safe? Launch off your remaining goats. Your Solar Flares and Steath Birds have done their job? Finish of your opponet's life points with some quick sucker punches. 2. Lava Gollum Many people don't see this beast's true potential. While it's true if your protection fails, your opponet has a 3000 atk beatstick ready to whoop the crap out of you. But if your protection is sturdy, the opponet with be taking a good 1000 right of the bat. Chances are this guy is going to stick around, especially if you have Mask of Restrict in Effect. Throw in MOTA for some extra damage and your opponet will be praying for dark hole. Oh yeah, it's banned, so what now? 1. I'm sure you've all been waiting for it. Wave Motion Cannon This card is just devastating. While it has some downsides such as being a continuous magic card and not inflicting damage until you send it your self, this time bomb can quickly become a problem. While you gravity bind and messenger protect you steath birds, your opponet will definitly have a lot to handle. Slowly and secretly, the almightly cannon(s) with be charging up behind your opponet's back while you blind their efforts with evil birds and hulking gollums. If you run a truely powerful burn deck, you will not only have a WMC on the field quickly, but it will only need to survive a few turns before it blows up. This is, in my opinion, the best legal burn card in the game. While Obilisk and CED aren't allowed, the cannon will definetly help you. Just be sure to protecti it. Some other burns to consider would be Judgement of Anubus, Giant Germ, Dora Fate, Bowganian, etc. Questions, Commets? Go ahead and tell me what you think: Scaryscorpion689@wmconnect.com
