Method:
Basically, share the pain is a highly over-looked magic card, which reads, 
"offer one monster on your side of the field as a tribute, your opponent 
must then offer one monster on their side of the field as a tribute" this 
means half the tributes for a two tribute monster(or more presically, 
three!)

Conclusion:
using share the pain effectivly can immensly help yo get gate guardian on to 
the field in less time as well as less monsters than previously thought 
possible.
