Subject: A rant on "The Truth About Santa" - Jay Ok, im just gonna get to the point, The stuff in the truth about Santa is just plain wrong. I'm a 12, that's right, 12 year-old in the 7th grade. Sure, his idea works, i know because i work with K thorugh 4 kids all the time, and i do admit that these cards can be expensive. But it is right to do this to these kids??? I mean, he says it will work with these kids because they don't know anything about the game, which is true for most. But it's also the reason why its shameful, these kids don't know what they're doing most of the time, so it's just not right to do this. I mean, it's practically stealing, sure u could say it isn't because you're giving them something back, but come people, think, look deep, because you know that it is. You're practically robbing these kids. You could also say that Yu-gi-oh is expensive and it's a must to do this, but people, think! All you gotta do is sell some of your bad cards. I mean, a two-pronged attack is worth 2 bucks, and so is baby dragon, i think. And you dont have to sell off just your cheap ones. I mean, do you really need that Twin-Headed thunder dragon if you have no thunder dragons? Or what about that B. Skull Dragon with no REBD??? Or, you could do this: Buy a Yugi or Kaiba starter deck Sell either DM or BEWD Buy another starter deck with that money(you'll have some left over afterwards) Sell everything from that deck except for the staple card, or you could sell that too repeat And that's just 1 way, there are many ways you could do this. So I don't see a reason to cheat this kids.
