Subject: corrections on more tips - wartortle32 These are the corrections on the tips for September 4th. For IQ's essay: One minor point. Once a monster attacks it cannot switch to defense mode in the main phase 2 regardless of whether or not it was already switched that turn. Once a monster attacks, it CANNOT switch it's mode that turn. For 'Nm0n's tip: That isn't possible because you are equipping too many cards to one monster. The maximum number of cards that you can attach to one monster is 5 because there are only 5 spaces in your m/t zone. (This excludes any magic cards attached by your opponent.) For Chris the Dragon Master's tip: There's a problem with that combo. (he's saying you should card destruction the opponent's hand and then use monster reborn so that he cant use that piece anymore). The problem is that the exodia piece is so weak, that the opponent can easily kill the exodia piece, bringing it back to his graveyard. Once Reserves come out, it becomes rather easy to get the exodia pieces back from the graveyard. For Joey Chiu's tip: Once again, the Ring of Magnetism does not require the opponent to attack the equipped monster. The opponent is allowed to completely skip his battle phase if he chooses to. For D'MaN's correction: The cannon soldier/last will tip you refer to is illegal. I explained in my last set of corrections. For CannonSoldierMan's tip: While it is true that a set does not count as a summon, the rulebook clearly states that you are allowed 1 normal summon or set per turn. You CANNOT set 4 monsters in 1 turn. For Mike Young's tip: You just copied the illegal tip from last week. Check my last explanation for why that is illegal. For Ghazi's tip: You cannot reborn the princess and use the effect again because her effect is a flip effect. When you use monster reborn, you can only bring back monsters in face up defense mode so therefore, you wont be able to use the effect again. For Dart the Black Dragon's tip: I cant believe this is still going around. UD made 2 lord of D.s The correct one does not protect dragons from non-targeting effects. Therefore, if you use dark hole, your BEWDs will not be saved by Lord of d. This is on the Upperdeck FAQ. For Doug Grant's tip: Once again, only the owner of Ultimate Offering can use the effect of the Ultimate Offering. Upperdeck has already released the ruling on this. For Justin's comment: Jirai Gumo is not a misprint. The defense is 100. The show is often wrong. You'll also notice that the first episode of Mai vs. Yugi had Summoned Skull's defense at 2300. Are you going to say SS is a misprint too? For Saagar's tip: If you summon Man eater bug in attack mode, you just wasted it. Its effect is a flip effect so the effect only happens if it is flipped. If you summon it in attack mode, it is a sitting duck. For Angelic Lord's tip: That isn't legal. You can only summon 1 monster per last will that you play. For SetoKaiba79's tip: You cant summon Gate Guardian by discarding him and using monster reborn. The ONLY way is to sacrifice the 3 pieces from the field. When you have summoned it normally, only then can you use monster reborn. For Benbonben's tip: A common error made by many duelists. Reverse trap cannot reverse another reverse trap. For Anonamus's tip: That's pretty funny. using hane hane to revive monsters from the graveyard? You can only use hane hane's effect on monsters that are on the field and alive. For JSDragon's tip: You are incorrect about the use of Waboku. Waboku stops all of your opponent's attacks. It's on the Upperdeck FAQ. How can you argue with that? That's all for now.
