Subject: A word to all the Beginners and/or Advanced players Hi, my name is Binh Tran. I'm currently am the very best duelist in my area. Now, this is to all the beginners to the game of Yu-gi-Oh. As you progress into this game you will find out about very useful cards, that most people will tell you that you must have them in your deck. ( These will be refered to as "staples") Cards like Raigeki, Monster reborn, Change of heart, etc. I have only a handful of these "staples" in my deck. Everyone says these cards should be in every deck, and every one listens to them. Why? I don't understand why everybody uses these cards. There is a connection between all these cards. And that is that they are all rare or restricted. Many of my fellow duelists such as "Dualling daddy ( I did not misspell, this is how he calls himself)" have found cards that are very useful but they are commons or non-restricted. Every one should use what they feel is a good card to them. To Dualling Daddy Eternal rest is a great card, and most people would say that the best card in my deck is Raigeki, but no, I seriously think the best card in my deck is Thunder dragon*. Are you surprised? I bet you are, in fact, I bet you're thinking "What is he crazy? Thunder dragon sucks!" And at first glance he would be, but I strayed from the "staples" group and found a use for him. Now, the upcoming structure decks coming out will be popular. These decks will include staples such as Raigeki. That means they will be considered "good". People will buy these decks and will automatically have a "good" deck. People will find that one of the certain decks will work best against another.(ei. Joeyvideogamer1306@yahoo.com *Thunder dragon's effect reads "You may sacrifice this card from your hand to add up to 2 "thunder dragon" cards from your deck to you hand. Your deck is then shuffled" I have three Magic Jammers in my deck. After the first 3-4 turns I find myself handless with 1-2 jammers on the field. Thunder dragon thins out my deck and serves as jammer bait. Too good not to use.
