Subject: Burner/Stall Combo-Mick Palmer Well, this is my first time sending in a combo or anything, but I'm no novice to this game either. Now, I run two decks, a beatdown deck and a burner/stall deck and I thought I'd show people some strategies that run good in a burner/stall style deck. First off you need your staple low level stall monsters, such as Prevent Rat, Giant Soldier of Stone, Mystical Elf, etc. Then throw in other staple cards for your stall style decks, such as Gravity Binds and Messenger of Peace's(I run two Gravity Binds and one MoP). Then throw in your burner cards, like Tremendous Fire(I run 2), Ookazi(2 as well), Sparks(2 again), Hinotama(only one, :/). Then if you have any, throw in your direct damage monsters, such as Jinzo #7... and I forget the other names of others, but you can get them from MRD and all are commons. Then power them up with cards such as Malevolent Nuzzler(3 is the best number here), and such and when you're stalling your opponent's monsters from attacking your low level low attack burner monsters, you can attack they're life points directly and take them slowly... This strategy works best against beatdown decks as it tore my tournament beatdown deck apart(runs 2x Magic Drains, 1 Magic Jammer, IO, 3 Harpies Bro's, and your other staple beatdown cards, and has a great 7 star in Barrel Dragon). Just some homely advice from me to you if you're interested in making a burner deck. Burner decks are good for experienced users, so a novice who just picked up a few boosters and two starter decks(Kaiba and Yugi), won't have the right cards to make an effective one. I guess that's all, if you have any comments about this strategy then just email me at mickpalmer316@aol.com and I'll be sure to email you back ASAP. Sign, Mick Palmer
