Subject: Rant on Combos that are "Amazing"- Lili Hi ppl!! I'm back! I won't post a tip right now, I'm posting a rant. A rant about those combos and tips that are not possible, or those 1-turn-wins…..I absolutely hate seeing so many of them. Anyway, I have been looking through a lot of tips and combos and I saw tons of them….Let's look at some of the combos I saw. Those who made the combo up will probably recognize it. I hope you think things through before making a combo up and posting it up just to waste space and time..Believe me, I didn't make these combos myself, I saw them on the CCG Strategies page and I don't wanna put the person's name on to embarrass them or anything. I wouldn’t' want someone to do that to me. First of all, I would like to say something about those tips that help you win your duel in 1 turn. Let me tell you something…that is all crap and trust me…it will not work unless you are extremely lucky and carry a rabbits foot and a penny you found on the ground with heads up, including $100 you saw on your way to a tournament. The Yu-Gi-Oh game is supposed to be strategic, and you will most likely not get the cards needed for a 1-turn-win. That is of course if you shuffled it funny… Besides, what's the fun in the game if you get a 1-turn-win? This is based on strategy you know…So stop posting those annoying 1-Turn-Wins tip and combos…it will NEVER happen!! Now let's get on to some of the combos I've seen that have a few problems or may be just completely useless: 1) Dark Hole + Ground Collapse (2-3) + Masked Sorcerer- The combo was to use Dark Hole to clear the field, use Ground Collapse so that your opponent can't use any of his monster spaces, but you have to sacrifice one of your own spaces… Then you use Masked Sorceror…Pretty good, I'd have to say. Clever way of defeating your opponent, but please…why would you be using Masked Sorceror for direct damage? Why don’t you use a stronger monster? Well…I'll rate this combo an 8 out of 10. Congrats to the person who made this! 2) Muka Muka, The Bistro Butcher, Appropriate- The combo was to attack with Bistro Butcher, the opponent is supposed to draw 2 cards, but you use Appropriate so that you draw two cards, and you power up Muka Muka with that. This combo is completely useless. You may be able to draw 2 cards, but your opponent draws two cards as well and the whole point of you actually drawing the cards was to power up Muka Muka by 600. That won't help since Muka Muka will have an attack of only 1200. You will just be wasting your time and space in your deck. Besides, why would you have a Muka Muka in your deck, a Bistro Butcher, and an Appropriate in your deck? So many lv. 4 cards overpower Bistro Butcher, and the effect of Bistro Butcher just makes him worst. Muka Muka is totally useless unless you are actually stupid enough to make a deck based on it and fill your hand with it. Appropriate isn't even all that good either unless you try and make your opponent draw a card or your opponent uses a magic card to draw a card outside the draw phase….Another problem is what if you don't get all those 3 cards at once? What if your opponent ruins your plan with a magic or trap card? You should try and have back up too if you could, and that's if you get all the cards together at once. I'll rate this combo a 1 out of 10. I would rated it as just plain useless anyway…but I'll give the person who made this some credit for trying.. 3) Appropriate- Ok, the combo was to put Appropriate down and hope that your opponent has Appropriate face down too. Then you use Pot of Greed, you draw 2 cards, your opponent uses Appropriate, he draws 2 cards, then you use Appropriate and you draw 2 more cards. This combo was labelled as a "funny combo". It is most likely that your opponent will not have Appropriate, and Appropriate will just waste space in your deck. So this isn't really much of a good combo. I will rate this combo as 3 out of 10. I'll give this person credit for making a funny combo, but it relies too much on having your opponent have a certain card face down and you having the same card face down at the same time. You gotta have a big deck like 70 or 80, as the person said, to do this combo too. 4) Hayabusa Knight, Axe of Despair, Wall of Illusion, Gravity Bind, Cannon Soldier, Dream Clown- Ok, I won't even bother to state the combo. Now those cards look like they would be in a F/S Beatdown deck. Anyway, the guy said that this combo will help you out in ANY duel, no matter what..Here's what I'll say. That is too many cards needed to make a combo. You need to have all those cards at the same time….You have to rely on having 5 specific card in your hand and you have to draw or already have another card. That's harder than summoning Exodia! It's close to being as hard as to summoning Gate Guardian! You would be relying too much on luck. I haven't seen a lot of people use Dream Clown anymore either. Anyway, I'll rate this combo as a 1 out of 10. Again, credit to the person for trying…though the combo is useless.. Ok, I only did 4 combos. I didn't want to seem like I was against everyone who made the combos, I'm just saying that they should try and think things through before making such a combo and posting it up. Anyway, please ppl, things you need to do before making a combo..1) Think things through….2) Check the chances of getting the cards needed…3) Make sure the cards needed are most likely to be in your deck…so it would be good to try and make combos out of your deck….4) TEST IT OUT…. I hope the rant and the tip for making combos I put up helps you and if you need anything, just email me at Dark_Elf_Princess@hotmail.com. Thanks!! ~Lili~
