Subject: Ritual Monsters Are Good--Ryutaro Hello everyone; I'm here to give you my two cents about Ritual Monsters. Ritual Monsters are some of the most underrated cards ever in the English Yu-Gi-Oh! world, mostly because of the fact that you need a Ritual Magic Card and the right monsters to offer as a Tribute. Now automatically most people would say "Ha, I can easily Magic Jam it!" or "I can just use Horn of Heaven or Solemn Judgment! to stop it!" But unbeknownst to everyone else, it's actually HARD to stop what I would call an "Early Ritual Summon." This is a Ritual Summon performed in the first few turns of the Duel, and it's not impossible to even start with a hand that allows you to Ritual Summon off the bat! And this is way before Magic Jammer can even be Set on the field! So it's not so easy to negate a Ritual Summon. There's always the possibility of an Early Ritual Summon, which renders most Counter Traps useless. And let's not forget, Ritual Monsters are Special Summons, so Trap Hole won't stop them. So that means the only TRUE method of eliminating a Ritual Monster is to either beat it with a stronger monster, use the Man-Eater Bug, or use Raigeki or any of the monster removal-type Magic Cards available. To put it bluntly, Ritual Monsters are hella good, whether their ATK and DEF are pathetic or not. Well, I'll be seeing ya. Contact me at mxdelamar@yahoo.com
