Subject: Top 3 Cards to AVOID in Labyrinth of Nightmare... Hello all! I have returned with what I think are the top 3 cards from the upcoming Labyrinth of Nightmare expansion that you should avoid like the plague! #1 - INDISCRIMINATE DESTRUCTION Permanent Trap Effect: Roll 1 six-sided die during your Standby Phase. Destroy all monsters will a level equal to the die roll. (If a 6 is rolled, destroy all monsters with level 6 or higher.) What kinda card is this? With a roll of a dice, you can clearly end it for yourself. The ONLY way I can see this card being effective is if you have no monsters on the field. But the sad part is that the roll is not optional. You must do it. If you're the gambling type, then go for it, but how often do you see gambling decks win? #2- DARK HERO: ZOMBIRE Effect Monster Dark/Warrior/4/2100/500 Effect: This card cannot attack a player. Reduce this Monster's attack strength by 200 for each monster that this Monster destroys during Battle. This is one of those monsters that should not have been made, in my opinion. Who wants a monster on the field that cannot (REPEAT: CANNOT) attack the opposing player? That means if your opponent has no monsters, and this is your only monster, you can't do nothing! (well maybe tribute....) And on top of that, when it destroys a monster in batter, it gets WEAKER? I'll pass... #3 - SOUL REMOVAL Normal Magic Effect: For the rest of the turn, instead of removing Monsters from the game in your Graveyard, you may remove your Monsters on the Field from the game. Why would you want to remove cards from the game, anyway, let alone those on the field? If you are a good duelist, chances are that monsters on the field are there FOR A REASON. This card has the capability to change the tide of a match, but at great risk, much like Final Destiny, and we all know how useless that card is. Now I'm not too fond of the theme of this expansion, which is Graveyard Control, and a lot of the sweet monsters require you to remove cards in your graveyard from the game to summon them. I don't like tributing, which why my deck consists of only 3 LVL 5 or higher cards, Summon Skull and 2 Labyrinth Walls, so I know this is not gonna sit well with me. This may appeal to some of you, but not me. Well that concludes this portion of my tips. I will be back later with what I think are essential deck-building tips. Take care all.... --DarkBlazer shinobi_x@hotmail.com
