Subject: Magic Card Safeguard and Saving Room for M/T Fields -- Karl Tip: M/T Safeguard and Saving Room for M/T Fields Intro: I learned this strategy/technique at tournament that is held weekly at my local cards and comics store [Ask other duelists at tournaments for help and tips! They'll be happy to help you (at least in my case).] Info: As you know traps are usually slower [take longer to play] than magic cards. The secret to safeguarding your M/T and saving room in your M/T fields is to keep magic cards in your hand and set trap cards on the field. You do this because trap cards have to be on the field for at least one turn before their effects can be activated. So practically, it's sort of common sense to place your traps on the field. Also, why waste up precious room in your M/T field by setting magic cards. You don't need to set them! Just keep them in your hand! After all... you can just play them directly from your hand [See! Very fast!]. You may say, "What about Card Destruction and such?!" Think about it: There is a low chance for Card Destruction to be played because it is limited/semi-limited. And also, if your lucky you should have a Magic Jammer or whatever negates a magic card set on the field. After all, it is a trap [ =) ]. Good Luck to EVERYBODY and I hope I helped you! -Karl [magnus_unlimited3000@msn.com]
