Subject: My Rant on Tips for NEW duelists--Snatch Steal These tips are for everyone acutally, i just got really sick of hearing "DNZ surgery+ Limiter Removal" etc. etc. etc., Ok, it is kind of obvious (i am not trying to "bash" anyone) So here we go for the NEW duelist tips: Now, with this "DNZ + ??" it isn't for all decks. Not very many beatdown, if any should have these cards: Insect Barrier DNZ Surgery Limiter Removal Megamorph etc. etc. Now lets see why, People with beatdowns aren't going to go slowly on opponents, they want to get em out of the tourney. And the cards featured above WILL NOT do that. LEt me ask you this: Why would you use DNZ surgery + Insect Barrier when they can barely play andy monsters anyway because + of your beatdown deck? IT IS JUST A WASTE OF SPACE. Next, I mean, come on, Limiter Removal? The chances of that are.... 1:55? And even with DNZ surgery, it takes up DECK SPEACE. Don't need it. Finally, Megamorph. Nope, dont need that eaither, this is a BEATDOWN deck. Your life points are almost always going to be higher! That would lessen your attack. Now come of you might say "but i really want these in my deck" well, i wouldn't reccommend it. what i could say is: " how about your side deck, then you can learn about your opponent, and wow, you then can bring them out when you want without having a bigger deck!" WEEEE anyways, just watch what you are doing. I have been in tournaments for about 5 or so months now and am Champion out of 50, placing me 2nd/tied for first in the state of Missouri on ( on official upperdeck websites), and 1 of the best in the nation (ONce my stupid, but cool, friend from the shop puts up my next 466 points) the thing i am trying to say is, i know what im doing, so for all of those new people out there going for beatdown, try to follow these tips, it will definitley help. NeXt: Just some quick tips: (1)Play Snatch Steal, Attack with your opponents monster, play tribute to the doomed on it or tribute it. (2)Have a Goblin ATtack force on the field? attack, THEN tribute it, that way you get at least 1 attack in, so when you tribute for lets say Summoned Skull, and your summoned skull gets "trap holed" you have at least attacked with 2300! (3)Opponent hand: 0 / Opponent field: Face up man eat bug + Jinzo Your hand: Fissure, La Jinn, Black Pendant Field: 1 trap, no monsters Well, in this situation, LA Jinn equipped is not powerful enough, SOOO you play LA Jinn, atk man eater, Play Fissure, clear the field! (4) DO NOT play imperial order then jinzo, you still have to pay 700 lp each turn without the effcect.
