Subject: DrBubbles Top 25 Yu-Gi-Oh Monsters This is the first time I've tried to post something on Pojo's, so correect me if I mess something up. First, I want to say that I'm not saying anyone is wrong for not agreeing with my list. If anyone says they agree with everything, I'll know for sure that their lying. Also anyone thinking I missed a card that should be listed or just want to complain, e-mail me at drbubbles2003@hotmail.com I'll start with #25- Asura Priest. Only four other monsters come to mind that can clear your opponent's field in one turn(assuming they have 3-4 monsters on the field). They are Time Wizard(on a good day), Cyber Jar, Fiber Jar and Morphing Jar#2(sort of). Three of those four are also on the list; and since this one has superior stats and returns to your hand for later, how could I leave this card out? #24-Sinister Serpent. This card can be set one turn, sacrificed the next, then discarded and will keep coming back. Obviously, it is here for it's reuseability(since it has nothing else going for it). #23-Hayabusa Knight. This card has a lot in common with Asura Priest. The difference is Hayabusa can attack only twice(they can both be direct, though) and attack with gravity bind while Asura Priest has 700 more ATK and returns to it's owners hand for safety. #22-Exiled Force. How many monster are there that can be summoned, attack, and then allow you to destroy a monster of your choice(no coin flip needed) all in one turn? That, combined with the fact that it is a Warrior, is enough to deserve a spot on this list. #21-Mask of Darkness. This card has the ability to bring back staple cards like Mirror Foce, Imperial Order and Torrential Tribute, along with cards like Backup Soldier, Gravity Bind and Destiny Board that are all staples in their respective decks. The fact that it is a Dark/Fiend guarentees this card a spot on the list. #20-Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer. 1800 ATK and a positive effect make this card usable. The fact that he is Dark, remove ANY two cards from your opponents graveyard and that he can cripple Exodia is the reason this card is so popular(he also stops skull lair and Dark Necrofear, making him even scarier). #19-Morphing Jar. If this card is used at the wrong time, it will hurt/help both players equally. The key to this card is clearing your opponents hand more than thinning their deck(since you are hurt equally). Still a card to fear, though. #18-Spear Dragon. It really is a shame that any Super Rare would be in fear of an attack from Magician of Faith, but 1900 Atk and a Fairy Meteor Crush effect is hard to pass up. If only this card weren't a Wind/Dragon, it would be lethal. #17-Yata-Garasu. Why on the list? That should be obvious- the effect preventing an opponents draw. Why is it this far down? 200 Atk, Wind-type, the fact that once it is in the graveyard, it's gone and the fact that it can't get past defensive walls like Magician of Faith. #16-Dark Ruler Ha Des. This card is capable of with standing Goblin Attack Force, Jinzo and Beast of Talwar. The effect means if comboed with Jinzo and Imperial Order, you opponent has no chance of winning( unless you can't pay for Imperial Order). This card is dangerous enough on it's own to pt some fear in your opponent. #15-Thousand-Eyes Restrict. Why is he on the list? He can absorb one opponents monster and stop the rest from attacking. Why is he this far down? Three words- Thousand-Eyes Idol(and the fact that he is a fusion). If you use this card, get Versago. #14-Fire Princess. Maybe this card doesn't deserve this good a spot, but direct damage decks are effective and Fire Princess is the cornerstone. This is an opinion card, since it is useless alone(just like other direct damagers Cannon Soldier and Jinzo #7). #13-Goblin Attack Foce. This is a non-tribute monster that has Freed, Judge Man and others living in fear. It alone raised the bar for how strong tribute monsters have to be to be usable. 2300 damage will also feave your opponent scrambling to get rid of it before it strikes again. #12-Gemini Elf. 1900 Atk, no tribute, no negative effect. There isn't much more worth saying, I just wish it weren't so rare. #11-Exodia the Forbidden One. I don't want any comments about where this should be placed since it is in a class of it's own. The card is good enough to have decks built around it, so it's on the list. #10-Bazoo the Soul-Eater. This card can destroy any monster level 1-6, except Thousand-Eyes Restrict, Injection Fairy Lily and Labyrinth Wall. The cost is very reasonable for what you get, especially since this guy is a level 4 monster who can take out ANY level 6 monster. #9-Injection Fairy Lily. This card has so many uses it is scary. Attack for 3400, scare your opponents monsters into defence for Spear Dragon or Asura Priest or play face down for huge surprise damage to your opponent, whose monster is now stuck in attack position for next turn. #8-Morphing Jar#2. This card has three awesome uses. Play it to clear your opponent's dangerous monsters, useit when your opponent has 4-5 monsters on the field so it will cause a lot of discarded cards or play it on yourself to hopefully get some useful monsters( and they even come into play face down). It is the extreme versitility of this card that got it the number eight spot. #7-Sangan. Sangan is capable of getting any flip effect monster in the game out (at least as far as I can tell). Fourteen of the cards on this list can be brought out with this card, meaning this will be in almobt every deck. #6-Summoned Skull. 2500 Atk(the most for his level) with a one-time cost of one tribute is something to fear. Being a Dark/Fiend is also a huge asset, along with the fact that he has under 1500 Defence. #5-Jinzo. 2400 Atk is diffinitely enough to make him useably, while completely disabling traps cripples nearly all deck types other than basic beatdown(Backup Soldier, Gravity Bind, Destiny Board etc...). #4-Cyber Jar. Unlike Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute, once Cyber Jar is flipped, their is no counter trap to stop it. Used at the right time, this card can bail you out or force an opponents Exodia piece onto the field. Drawing 5 cards isn't bad either. #3-Magician of Faith. A second Raigeki or Harpie's Feather Duster is your opponent's worst nightmare. Since this card isn't limited, you could make that four Raigekis. I can't think of a single deck type that shouldn't use this card. It is just that good. #2-Fiber Jar. If Yu-Gi-Oh were a computer, Fiber Jar would be the Reset button. The ability to restart a game (except life points and cards that were removed from play) is simply awesome. If you have this card, there is no reason not to use it. #1-Witch of the Black Forest. Twenty-two of the cards on this list have 1500 Def or less, making this card the ONLY staple monster card in Yu-Gi-Oh. Plus, as far as awesome effect monsters go, 1100/1200 are awesome stats. This card is lacking only one thing: a flaw. So, that concludes my list. Remember, these are only my opinions, meaning they are wrong.
