Subject: Exodia Tactics-DekuScrub I agree with what all you anti-Exodia people say about Exodia decks being vulnerable to many discard cards, but also disagree as well. If the head is in the grave, it is not game over (as an experienced Exodia Duelist should know), You either use your other combo's to get him back. The number one combo being the one and only Fiber Jar (if you don't know what it does, find out and then get one immediately). Currently (but not for long) unlimited in the US (but it would be real stupid to play 3 in your deck unless your head was in the grave like every 3 seconds), Fiber Jar gets your head and any other pieces you can't get back out (Being Jinzo stopping Backup Soldier, which a good Exodia duelist should run some kind of monster removal, my preferred is Ekibyo Drakmord). The second and extremely painful method is the Revival Recovery method. You need to revive your piece that you wish to recover and then use Monster recovery. I used to use this sad combo until I decided I was tired of being poor and went out and got a Fiber Jar. My head don't go in the graveyard no more! (excuse that bad English). Also, the last thing to remember is, how many people actually play Deck Destruction seriously? Or play "anti-Exodia" decks? Deck Destruction is focused a lot in Yata Decks (all hail the CROW!!!) but if you know how to properly hone your Exodia deck, you don't need to fear any kind of "destruction deck". Heck, my deck has won even without Exodia finishing off the match for me a few times! (let me tell you, though not impossible, it is very, very hard). If you are playing offensive Exodia, don't worry about a single word I said above. Because you only depend on winning the duel with Exodia 20% or so (or you should) you don't need to have a conniption fit if the head goes in the grave. Just pummel your opponent like normal and you should be fine. Personally though, I play defensive Exodia. I also sometimes use my Beat Down Deck (All hail Bazoo & Barrel Dragon!) Which is just waiting for Yata-Garasu to bless it (with some minor deck changes to be made). Exodia is truly a playable deck (yell at me all you want) even though it has more weaknesses with the releases of new sets, if you are skilled, you can play a deck truly worthy of Tournament Play. My Exodia deck has never lost me a single match anywhere, be it Tournaments, local games with friends, whatever. Now I am sure there is some kid out there who can beat me (here is hoping I can find him so I can find out what the heck I can do to improve my deck even more...) Man, I really should do the official Upperdeck Tourneys more instead of the Tourneys with the kick butt prizes... Hmm... If I am feeling generous someday, I may post my deck with a Tournament Review... To all you duelists, stay strong with your deck. And for all you idiots who steal cards, quit it or a mob of weasels will hunt you down. DekuScrub deku_scrub@msn.com
