Subject: Gradius and its Options by GradiusZero Gradius and its Options by GradiusZero If you have thoughts about this or anything that refers to this e-mail me at TommyxYa@aol.com. Whats up fellow Pojoers. When you think of the card Gradius you are basically thinking a 1200 atk monster with 800 def. We all know this card can easily get beatdown by any other cards, i.e. 1800 attackers. Even with the cyclon laser equip card, Gradius is still a card to laugh at only now with 1500 atk and with a fairy meteor crush effect. But with the release of Legacy of Darkness, Gradius is now a card to be reckoned with. If you have played the Gradius games, like i have, you would know about Gradius's Option. With the release of the Gradius's Option card, Gradius maybe now playable and may actually end games for you. If you don't know what Gradius's Option does, here is its effect. This monster can only be Special Summoned by selecting 1 "Gradius" on your side of the field. The ATK and DEF of this monster is always applied to the ATK and DEF of the selected "Gradius". If the selected "Gradius" is destroyed or removed from play, this card is also destroyed. I know you see the downfall of this deck, with the removal of the selected Gradius but lets look at the factor that can win you a duel. Lets say you play Gradius and you happen to have 1 Option in your hand, that right there is enough to win you a game, depending whats on the field and in your hand. Equip Gradius with a Mage Power and United We Stand is a factor that can end duels. iIf you have 4 magic/traps on field which is not too hard. Equiped with Mage Power, Gradius can do 3200 but if you play Gradius's Option and equip Gradius with United We Stand thats over 4000 dmg! If you are lucky enough to have a Limiter Removal card on the field, man that is an overkill. Cards to look out for is, if newbs play skull lair and offerings to the doom. But not too many people will waste 4 cards to get rid of a Gradius. I know some of you are thinking about the Limiter Removal strategy and is most likely thinking would the Option itself get the double damage effect from the card. To tell you the truth I don't think the Option gets the effect because what the effect reads on the card. The ATK and DEF of this monster is always applied to the ATK and DEF of the selected Gradius. But if someone has an answer to that question please e-mail me. This all for now, fellow Pojoers. I'll try to send in more strategies later on in the future. Bye for now. ^^
