the power! - e|3il Nearly everyone in the world of yu-gi-oh! That has been playing long enough to get a pot of greed, a graceful charity, a card of safe return, realized that Card Destruction could potentially be a chance for serious drawing power if used correctly, or one of the many other ideas people have come up with to slim down their decks in the middle of duels for the chance to draw good cards, i.e., mother grizzly, UFO turtle, Mystic tomato, etc. Also, 2 cards that should be in just about everyone’s deck, Sangan and the Witch of the Black Forest, knows that drawing power is a key element in winning duels. Now, while these cards, and the element of draw power are all very good, this is not the subject of this article. The subject of this article is, simply stated, this: While drawing ability and power does help you speed through your deck and get the cards you need, there is also another element to consider; reshuffling power. There is almost a unanimous belief that draw power is equal to winning power. This is in most ways true. Many people don’t consider, or at least openly consider reshuffling power as a way to win. Some people play the Big Eye as a way to arrange how you want to get your next 5 cards, so why not re-arrange your deck completely? There are so many cards that offer reshuffling ability that it’s probably been overlooked. I can’t really blame people for that either, as I used to overlook it before it started saving my ass in duels I was signed up to lose for. I’m sure that more than one of the people that will actually read this tip would have known this, and started instituting a system for this in their deck, or for those of you who can, their other decks. Reshuffling allows a chance at grabbing a needed card at the right time that, for all you know, is at the very bottom of your deck. Also, reshuffling could stick the needed card right there on the bottom as well. But, everything has risks, doesn’t it? Fiber Jar, that has *just* been released, offers the now ultimate in reshuffle power. It is currently 9:30 in the fraggin AM, so this is going to be as long as this gets (I woke up, worked out, and thought of this idea…) so later. Also, I heavily encourage continuous and if possible, unceasing bashing of Upperdeck. I’m still greatly aggravated at their Michizure ruling and refusal to talk to me anymore. One more thing. Think of this as a P.S. if you would. Gryphon Wing, while is released, as was eloquently stated by Mr. “Corrections on the June 20th Tips” aka Peagasus, is not, as I’ve repeatedly been reading (not from peagasus, don’t jump to conclusions) that it is an anti-magic card, specifically from Snodin’s moth article. Now, while this is a fact, how can it be counted as an effective ant-magic card? It’s exactly like anti-raigeki, except that it counters a different card. Please, people, let’s count cards that only counter and or destroy a single card as protective anti-magics. Please. One more thing. I’m currently reading “Decks of the past: F/S Beatdown” and I’m on the part where he’s talking about Dark Necrophear (I know it’s fear, but I like the ph better. So =P) and, unless I’m wrong, isn’t the necrophear a girl? Please, correct me if I’m wrong…I mean, doesn’t she have boobs? Iain, aka e|3il, li_shaolan1@hotmail.com
