Subject: a word on fusions( XYZ-Dragon cannon) Fusion, to many people, are becoming a thing of the past. Due to the fact that most fusions are 1800/200 monsters with an effect no one really uses. But by the start of next year, and trust me on this, fusions will be back in business due to one (or four really) new card& XYZ-DRAGON CANNON!!! Some people may say that its just another gate guardian wanna-be because it needs three sacrifices. Well here are some pros and cons on fusions certain fusions. XYZ-Dragon cannon (coming this October as part of the new tins set) Pros: 2800 attack means it is pretty mean. One of the best effects in the game, you discard one card from your hand to destroy ANY card on the Field, so you can easily clear the field and get in on their life points. Will only cost about 30 bucks instead of 150. Parts are only 4 stars (ultimate offering) Cons: Cant attack first turn. Not a powerful as other normal cards (tyrant dragon). Three sacrifices. Removes material monsters from game Parts: X-head 1800/1500 4 stars (in my opinion this is VERY GOOD) Y-dragon 1500/1600 4 stars (can be turned into an equip card) Z-Metal Caterpillar 1500/1300 4stars (no other info) Gate Guardian Pros: Can make a BIG dent in life points. Great trade bait. Cons: Look, we have all heard the cons. if you haven t, go to http://www.pojo.com/yu-gi-oh/cotd/August2002/8-2-02.shtml Black skull dragon Pros: Good attack power. Materials only need 3 sacrifices. Works great in a dragon deck. Cons: Can t attack first turn. Can fall to a dragon capture jar. Versago the Destroyer/Goddess with the Third Eye These are commonly overlooked cards. They can be used as a substitute for ANY fusion material monster in a fusion. This can save you two monsters. For instance you could have your summoned skull on the field (always a good thing) then play Goddess with the Third Eye, now play polymerization and BING! You got yourself a Black skull dragon.
