Now before I get started, I just want to say that I may bash beatdowns a bit, but it's for your own good. Now onto my tip:
 
            I've talked to many people at the tourney I play at. Almost all of them say beatdown is getting boring. I almost always tell them, try using a burn deck. Sometimes, it's very difficult to make a burn deck because it doesn't rely on attacking. But here are some great tips for making a burn deck, for all of you that wanna switch outta beatdown.
 
1. Choose the type of burn you want. Burn usually comes in the following styles
 (I'll explain these themes after
- Lava Golem Burner
- Straight burn
- Fire Princess - Life Gain
- Fire Princess - Morale Boost
- Laucher burner
 
2. Choose key cards for the type u want
- Lava Golem Burner: Lava Golem, Nightmare Wheel, stall
- Straight Burn: Just Desserts, Tower of Babel, Balloon Lizard
- Fire Princess - Life Gain: Fire Princess, Solemn Wishes, Cure Mermaid, Marie the Fallen One
- Fire Princess - Morale Boost: Fire Princess, Gearfried, Butterfly Dagger, Morale Boost
-Laucher Burner: Cannon Soldier, Amazon Archer, Scapegoat
 
3. Build around the strategy
   Depending on the type of deck you have, you have to add cards to make it at least 40. Remember, always count staples first, then the strategy, then other cards that will support the main theme For example: after u get staples, if you decide to use a Lava Golem Burner, u may want to add plenty of stall, like Messenger of Peace and Spirit Reaper. Also, you should include a couple more burn cards and a lot of magic negation to keep the Golem on the field
 
4. Test/Fix - Test/Fix
       Remember, playing the deck is the only way to get used to it. You may want to try many different burner types to see which one suits you best. Everyone has a different way of thinking. If u ran straight beatdown, you would prolly go straight burn. If you ran a variation of beatdown, then a different type depending on what variation you played. If u ran a medium speed hand disruption, go for a Fire Princess - Life Gain deck.
