An overlooked deck: Rush

Okay, I know this is a Yu-Gi-Oh! site, but Pojo also covers MTG too. Anyway, a lot of people complain about decks and how their so un-original, but hey, who cares? It's just a freakin' game.If you don't think that people should copy decks, that's great. but you yourself probably copied your deck idea. Sorry, I'm ranting. Anyway, back to the post.

Magic the Gathering has a lot of cards, no? And with those cards comes different decks. And out of those different decks, two emerge: Control (blue) and Beatdown (green). It's the same everywhere. Then you get the different decks, like...speed decks. Rush decks. Here's how they work:

1). Get out your monsters, fast. this incorporated dumping them inot the graveyard and bringing them back, or just getting out two-three per turn.

2). Power-ups. Get your monsters to a high ATK and whoop on your opponent.

3). Make sure you have a clear path. Use any card to kill M/T, or deplete your opponent's hand.

4). If all else fails, FIber Jar (Wait...you can't, according the banlist that's gonna be coming out soon).

To elaborate:

1). Use Ultimate Offering. Painful Choice. Mirage of Nightmare. WOTBF. Sangan. Pretty much the same cards you use now, only with Ultimate Offering. Think of it: bring out two Gearfrieds and an Amazoness Swordswoman, Gaia Power, Raigeki, Harpie's (both will be banned, though...kind of makes this deck pointless...see, what will the banlist do? It will decimate any original deck...RoD and Cylinder will be easier to use...sad, really), attack for a lot. Fun, huh?

2). Gaia Power, Axe, UWS, Mage Power, all on a BLindly Loyal Goblin. Fun...right?

3). With the advent of the banlist that will be coming out shortly, this will be much harder to accomplish..pity. That's what made the game fun.

4). That'll be impossible...pity, too.

Anyway, this deck is beatdown...post-banlist. Wvery deck will be. Control will be non-existent. They created the banlist to destroy people's decks. To prevent duelists from becoming too powerful. So they're good, big deal. Who cares? The banlist will affect sales, most likely. Say bye-bye to big time profits, UDE. The banlist will hurt the players, the company, and the businesses that sell the company's products. In other words, the banlist is the dumbest thing ever. But just think about this deck, and think about the banlist ,and how much of a dumb idea it is. Becuase there is only one deck: Beatdown. It will come back. The game will go back to the pre-LOD days. Who want's that?
