SomeGuy Wall of Illusion, nice ability combined with high defense makes it a great support monster. Here are most of Wall of Illusions's good points.
  • Can effectively block La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp, Battle Ox, Neo the Magic Swordsman, and Ryu-Kishin Powered (All popular monsters) without being killed in the process.
  • Becomes a pain versus decks based on high level monsters by bouncing them back to your opponents hand making their tribute wasted.
  • Is Dark and has the Fiend trait opening up lots of common possibilities to raise its attack and defense.
  • Great surprise to your opponent when in flipped defense mode.

Most the time Wall of Illusion will be in defense mode, but when needed he can attack for a decent 1000 damage bringing you a little closer to finishing the game (Possibly more if you have Yami and/or some other attack enhancer). It's surely worth the couple slots in your deck.

Overall Score: 4.1 (Excellent defensive monster)

CCGChewie Wall of Illusion. An amazing defensive card to say the least. Its effect is NOT a flip, thus is in effect continously. So if ANYTHING tries to smack it around it goes to your hand. Very bad if it’s a lvl 5+ doing the smacking. O_o 1000 atk is low so it is quite vulnerable to Fissure. But still… 1850 defense makes it impossible for a La Jinn to kill without help. The going back the to hand deal is pretty painful, too. It reduces your opponent’s field by one if they want to take that risk. That COULD give you a free shot at their lp! And chances are they’re attack was UNDER 1850 so the take 250-50 lp damage to top it off! A truly mean defensive card.

Rating: 4.4/5 – If you feel you need a defense card, add this bugger. He really can’t bring down your deck. o_O
