Yonex Snatch Steal -- Thursday

Introduction: Thank you for letting me take control of your Barrel
Dragon.... PERMANTELY.... HAHAHHHAHAHAHAHH

Equipment Magic
Take control of one of your opponent's face-up monsters. Your opponent gains
1000 Life Points at each of his/her Stanby Phases.

Why should you use it?
*Take control of opponent's monster
*Last forever

Why shouldn't you use it?
*Opponent gains life
*Cannot take face-down

Reasons: I belive that this is our last restricted card that we are looking
at in Magic Ruler, so I'll try to make this a good one. First off, this can
take control of your opponent's monster, which of course is good. What makes
this even sweeter is that it last forever as long as this card is equipped.
Now the negative side isn't that harsh, but your opponent gains 1000 Life
Points each Standby, which isn't that bad. The 2nd negative is what makes
this cad a tuff choice to put in the deck or not. It CANNOT take face down
monsters. This is very important, since these days, most monsters start out
face down.

Rating: This card is very good. Though this card has it's bad side, it still
is a very good card. This is a major staple card. Of course, that is why it
is restricted. Like duh! This card would get a 3.7. It is very good, but the
part where it can't take control of face-down monster is what kills it.

Conclusion: Hurry up and snatch this card before someone else snatches this
card and runs!

wartortle32 Thrusday - Snatch Steal

Sorry for the off day yesterday. I was rather busy. Anyway's today's card is Snatch Steal. This is the watered down version of Change of Heart. You can take
control of an opponent's face up monster and he gains 1000LP ever of his standby phases.

This card is best for tribute material. Take his monster, and then tribute it right away so that he doesn't gain any LP. One thing this card has over
Change of Heart is that it is permanent until the Snatch Steal is destroyed. You shouldn't hold on to the monster for too long though, since the opponent
gain gain a lot of LP fast if he is able to stall you. Unlike Premature Burial, you cannot use giant trunade with this card to use it over and over. Once you
return it to your hand, the opponent gets his monster back.

I give this card a 4.0/5. It will be restricted to one for sure.

Snatch Steal

hmmm.... This card is fairly playable but I'm still not sure about how good it really is. You can get any of your opponent's Monsters and use them to beatdown your opponent but then they gain 1000 Life Points every turn. That means that if you take a Fish or a La Jinn you only hit your opponent for 800 Life points and if they destroy this card they get their Monster back in the blink of an eye.

I would rather use a Fissure instead and get rid of that Monster for good because if you take a Fish or anything big your opponent can always play Messenger of Peace and have a net gain of 900 Life Points every turn. Besides there's just too much Trap/Magic card hate in the environment to make this card good.

Rating 3.2
