Delta Attackers

I looked at this card, saw "while there are 3 Normal Monsters of the same name (except tokens) on your side of the field", and stopped reading. In order for this card to be playable, the rest of the text would have to be "you win the Match, plus you automatically win your next Match in the tournament."

If you have 3 monsters out, it would be a much better idea to play card effects that destroy your opponent's defenses and then let you attack directly that way, rather than avoiding your opponent's monsters and still leaving yourself wide open to Spell and Trap defense.

The entire Mokey Mokey theme just isn't worth playing, in any format.

1/5 all.

Delta Attackers:
Scorpions are well known for attacking in a triangular formation. This attack has devestated desert populations across the world.

I put this card firmly in the "interesting idea that will never happen". Getting all of your copies of a particular card into play at the same time is a tall order and will virtually never happen. This does work with Mokey Mokey Smackdown for a 9000 direct attack, but that requires more set-up than a general election.
Just leave this card safely in the commons box.

Delta Attacker

Now for the Mokey Mokey OTK, to finish off the week. Are you ready for this?

Now firstly, play Polymerization, fusing 3 Mokey mokey into Mokey mokey king. Then activate Mokey mokey smack down. Then kill your Fusion somehow, I don’t know, use Thunder Crash or something. Then activate this for the final push, assuming they haven’t got anything to stop all this of course. Hmm, 7 cards you say? Interesting.

Exodia’s only 5, and its guaranteed , and less situational. So that’s a no go. But how about the card itself?

Well name based cards generally don’t do too well, considering qwuite often to reap the benefit you need 3 of the same named ones out in order to do something. Considering this is further restricted by making it necessary for then all to be normal monsters too, you’re left wondering how can I do this? In short you can’t, and it’s not worth using.

MikeJ Delta Attacker

Basic Summary: We top of this weeks card with one of the best cards for Mokey Mokey other then Mokey Mokey Smackdown which pulled off right can win you the game with Mokey Mokey. Just manage to maintain 3x Mokey Mokeys face up long enough to pull of the effect of Mokey Mokey Smackdown/Delta Attacker then attack for game hopefully unless your opponent can stop it. Now much like Mokey Mokey Smackdown this card is very situational but pulled off right can win games but a most to run with Mokey Mokey.

Conclusion: Now like I mentioned above only run it in its own deck type period.

Traditional Format > 1/5: Nooo....!!!

Advance Format > 5/5: Mokey Mokey deck

Artwork >3/5: The picture is very odd with triples scorpions ?!!!

Delta Attacker

The final Card of the Day for this week is Delta Attacker. Which works for normal monsters with no effects. This card came from the AST set.

My friend ran this in his Mokey Mokey deck and it worked wonders. Pump his 3

Mokey Mokey's to 3000 and attacked directly for game. He never pulled it off

on me, but sometimes came close. You could use other monsters too like Archfield Soldiers, and etc. But you need 3 Archfield Soldiers in order for it to work. It only goes to end of your turn too. So maybe run 2-3 in a deck

with normal monsters in it.

Not bad, could make people run normal monsters again, but effect monsters have better effects, so I dont see it happening.

Delta Attacker: DR2-EN209

Delta Attacker would be great in a Normal Monster deck. You know…they used to call that a Weenie Rush deck. We don’t have the stall capabilities like we used to. Every format is nuking some Stall cards.

You MUST have 3 Normal Monsters of the same name on your side of the field. There are no Level restrictions for this effect. After activation, those 3 monsters can attack directly this turn. Even if one of them were to be destroyed this turn, the effect still applies.

An interesting note: Embodiment of Apophis is considered a Normal Monster. Try using Delta Attacker with that.

In a Weenie Rush deck, you can also use Thousand Energy and Triangle Power. Triangle Power boosts the ATK and DEF of all face-up Level 1 Normal Monsters (except Tokens) on your side of the field by 2000. Sweet. What’s the drawback? Well, they die at the End Phase; not bad.

Thousand Energy increases the ATK and DEF of all Level 2 Normal Monsters by 1000. And again, you have to destroy them all in the End Phase. These cards are great for building Weenie Rush decks or small OTK combos.

Last Word: Delta Attacker is an okay card. I’d rather have Thousand Energy and Triangle Power.

For today's cotd I have included not only a review but 2 decks using Mokey-Mokey.

Delta Attackers

This card is not really worth running. It forces you to play a lot of normal monsters and then hopes that upon attacking a Mirror Force is not waiting. (I always have wanted to hit someone with this and 3 BEWD. But it is never going happen due to the inheriting weakness in this card.)

I was beginning to get worried because so many people sent me decks saying (this deck sucks/this deck is not playable) So even though I got decks, they "sucked" as stated by their creators. But today I received an E-Mail from Joe Shurtleff. His deck is amazing:P

Yes, here is Joe's deck showing off the power of level one monsters

3x D.D. Trainer
3x Charcoal Inpachi
3x Oppressed People
3x Kozaky
3x Gigobyte
3x Skull Servant
3x Goblin Calligrapher
3x Mokey Mokey (Yay!)
1x Magician of Faith

Total 25 Monsters

3x Triangle Power
3x Law of the Normal
3x Enchanted Fitting Room
1x Graceful Charity
1x Pot of Avarice
1x Heavy Storm
1x Giant Trunade
1x Level Limit- Area B

Total 14 Spells

1x Gravity Bind
1x Mirror Force
1x Ring of Destruction

Total 3 Traps

SIDE DECK:

1x Left Arm of the Forbidden One
1x Left Leg of the Forbidden One
1x Right Arm of the Forbidden One
1x Right Leg of the Forbidden One
1x Exodia the Forbidden One
3x Magical Merchant
3x Heart of the Underdog
2x Backup Soldier
1x Card Destruction
1x Monster Reincarnation

Total 15 Cards

-I'd try to include Chiron the Mage, Ultimate Offering, The League of Uniform Nomenclature, and Torrential Tribute into it. Nonetheless this is a well built Lv. 1 deck that demonstrates that they are playable. Law of the Normal is so cool too. It is a Heavy Storm and a Dark Hole in one!

Now here is a deck I put together using Mokey-Mokey. It is not really focused on Mokey and kinda is running it just to say (HEY LOOK AT ME) but it is taking advantage of Celestial Transformation in order to maintain field and hand advantage. I personally like Joe's deck better. Yet they both offer some weird ways to have fun:P

Mokey/fairy deck

Monsters (22)
3x Cyber Dragon
3x Shining Angel
3x Airknight Parasath
3x Mokey Mokey
2x Mudora
3x Majestic Mech Ohka
2x Skelengel
2x Chiron The Mage
1x D.D. Warrior Lady

Spells (16)
3x Infernal Reckless Summon
2x Celestial Transformation
2x Creature Swap
1x Graceful Charity
1x Scapegoat
1x Nobleman of Crossout
2x Mokey Mokey Smack Down
2x Smashing Ground
1x Heavy Storm
1x Premature Burial

Traps (4)
1x Royal Decree
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Ring of Destruction
1x Mirror Force

I think that putting Freed the Brave Wanderer along with some warrior support might make it more staple. I just ket drawing into 2 mokey-mokey smack down with no Mokey-Mokey, so I dropped them to 2. I'd also recommend that more monster removal be in the deck/side deck. Give it a try, Celestial Transformation may be what it takes to make Airknight a Staple again:P

Surprise, there are 3 decks. This one was sent to me by Wes Perz and has actually won a tournament. Read his e-mail...

think I might have an answer to your Mokey Mokey dilemma. Y'see, awhile
back, my friend was obsessed with MM but didn't' have the funds to do
anything about it. He had a really great idea though. So, I tweaked his
idea a little bit, and actually received success. That's right, I won a
local tournament. OMG! So, here's the deck:

Monsters (20):
Breaker the Magical Warrior x1
Magician of Faith x1
Sangan x1
Catapult Turtle x2
Shining Angel x3
Mokey Mokey x3
Freed the Brave Wanderer x2
Soul of Purity and Light x2
Cyber Dragon x3
Majestic Mech - Ohka x2

Spells (12):
Heavy Storm x1
Mokey Mokey Smackdown x2
Magic Reflector x2
Nobleman of Crossout x1
Enemy Controller x1
Graceful Charity x1
Last Will x1
Scapegoat x1
Confiscation x1
Smashing Ground x1

Traps (8)
Torrential Tribute x1
Ring of Destruction x1
Mirror Force x1
Return from the Different Dimension x2
Call of the Haunted x1
Sakuretsu Armor x2

Total Cards: 40

Now, it's not really completely Mokey Mokey specific, but it does the job.
Y'see, the point is to pump your Mokey Mokey's with Mokey Mokey Smack down, and then tribute them for Catapult Turtle's effect. And, if the MM idea
falls through, you got a Freed Return deck to cope with. Now, there are
some cards in the side deck I left out, like Poly and Mokey Mokey King,
because they don't work so well. There's also an Emissary of the Afterlife
in the side. Like I said, it won a local tourny of 20 people, so something
must be going right. Peace out, y0!

This deck deserves some more looking into to. But I think this is the best way to end Mokey Mokey week. 3 decks, 3 strategies, and one fun day.

In the words of Wes, Peace out, y0!
