Dark Paladin

Thursday

It's apparently Battery theme for the last two days this week, and we begin with Batteryman Charger.  Batteryman Charger is a Level 5 monster of the Light attribute and the Thunder-type with 1800 attack and 1200 defense.

1800 attack for a tribute monster is dreadful, and 1200 defense is horrid also.  However, this card gains 300 attack and defense for each Thunder-type monster you control.  However, that means you need at least one other monster just to be on par with the 2400 attack threats.

Or four monsters total for 3000 attack to be able to take out your 2800 attack threats.  Batteryman Charger allows you to Special Summon a Batteryman monster (other than himself) from your Hand or Deck.  That's a better effect, anyway.

It's nice to see support for themes like this, but this card isn't enough.

Sigh, batteryman charger was almost good. It could be the new cyber dragon as a floater. But then I saw he was 5 star. So now he's somewhat of a gk king, except not really, and his archetype is MUCH worse. A lot.

1/5 all.

Is it just me, or do we seem to be reviewing either stellar or crappy cards this week?...

Todays card is Batteryman Charger. For the deck type, this card is a staple(due to the lack of support that it has. The main point of a battery deck, is to try to make big beats and control the field. Some may be thinking, meh the attack boost is weak.  When you bring charger out, choose Batteryman AA, then chain inferno reckless summoning. Now you have a near Otk on your field. I cannot really expand on this anymore, but the card is a staple for the archtype, and if u need to focus on swarming and having big beats, why not use this?
