Psychic Lifetrancer is a decent enough Psychic-type monster who is really hindered by the fact that it is Level 7, requiring two tributes as such. Does this card have a place in your Psychic Deck? Let's take a look.

2400 attack and 2000 defense isn't very good for two tributes, but it has supported monsters in the past, a notable example being Sacred Phoenix. It is Synchro Summoned by 1 Tuner and one or more non-Tuner-type monsters.

Now, once per turn, you can remove one Psychic-type monster in your Graveyard to gain 1200 Lifepoints. That's a nice addition to your Lifepionts for a negligible cost, but Lifepoint gain has never been a very viable option in Yugioh.

1200 extra Lifepoints per turn isn't anything to scoff at. The format is quick and relentless, and it isn't anything to quickly set aside.
However, with only the 2400 attack, and no game breaking effect, I don't see it having a competitive place in the Format.

Psychic Lifetrancer

Well, this is the other level 7 synchro that we have now that is unthemed. Her stats are slightly better than the infamous Black Rose Dragon, as psychic, DARK and 200 more defense are good. Now on to her effect. Compared to BRD, you cannot say that lifetrancer is better, but, if you don't want to nuke the field, then of course Lifetrancer is better.

You remove a Psychic in the graveyard and you gain 1200 lifepoints. How is that good? Don'd you want Psychcics int he graveyard? Krebons is a DARK, so if you are over in e Tele-DAD deck, you can bring your graveyard down to the size that you need.

She also comboes well wth Magical Android, Thought Ruler Archfiend and Psychokinesis in particular, granting the lifepoints to use TRA's anilities as well as getting enourmous lifegain from Android and fulfilling all of Psychokinesis' contractual obligations.

Basically in any deck that can conceivably make a level 7 and uses Psychics, you will put this guy in your extra deck, if just for the fact that she is better than BRD is in so many situations.

Psychic Lifetrancer is a second choice for a Level 7 Synchro monster other than Black Rose Dragon. The only important difference between the two are the effects. On one hand you can blow up the field or remove a plant from the grave to have an opponent's monster have 0 attack, on the other hand you can remove a Psychic from the graveyard to gain 1200 Life Points. In most non Psychic decks the only Psychic monsters being played are Krebons and Psychic Commander. Life Points are important as they used to be. People would rather destroy all cards or deal damage instead of gain life points.

Anteaus Psychic Lifetrancer

Meh, this card is OK. It's not terrible, but it's not amazing (I'm not quick to dismiss a card, if you haven't noticed). It's...well, it's so-so, even in a Psychic deck. Chances are that you'll be using your Tuner monsters to bring out some bigger, meaner beasties than this guy, and while the 1200 LP gain is nothing to scoff at, it's not gamebreaking, so this card will just be collecting dust in a box somewhere after awhile.
