Stardust Xiaolong

Well at least we have a better card than Majestic Dragon. Stardust Xiaolong is a level 1 LIGHT Dragon with 100 ATK and 100 DEF. These are still horrible stats, but at least they are better than Majestic Dreagon's. Not to mention that it is also a non-Tuner, which actually makes it slightly mor eplayable than the previous card.

The effects are actually halfway decent. If you Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon, then you get it from your graveyard in ATK position, and once per turn it is not destroyed as a result of battle. These can actually come in handy in a pinch, but not much else. It is the other key component for Summoning Majestic Star Dragon, but there really just isn't a point to playing that card.

Other than a deck packing the Majestic Star, this card really has no uses in any other deck. Even the dedicated Dragon deck won't want to touch this guy. Still a horrible card, but not quite as bad as some that we have reviewed.

Stardust Xiaolong …

Oh, boy …

This guy is almost just as bad as yesterday’s card … almost … it has 100 ATK so it could kill most tokens in a fight … that’s SOMETHING, right?
(no, … in case u are wondering … it is NOT.)

It can be special summoned from the graveyard when u Synchro for Stardust Dragon … Stardust being fairly popular, this is something that can happen regularly for most decks employing Tuner monsters … And if u haven’t normal summoned yet, u now have a free Stardust Xiaolong on the field to maybe tribute or something for a Monarch or something else to help u lock up the field further … … And SX has the ability to survive 1 hit per turn in battle without being destroyed … several other monsters employ this kind of ability, but they are Tuner’s so they are at least good for SOMETHING …

Ok, so fine - Stardust Xiaolong is not good by any means, but although he has a built in purpose (namely to create Majestic Stardust), much like yesterday’s card …. SX can at least do a few semi-useful things with his abilities that aren’t completely reliant upon bringing out that Majestic Waste of time.

Stardust Xiaolong is a interesting monster, considering you can Foolish it or more interestingly use Future Fusion with it, then Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon, special summon all 3 Xiaolong and you get the picture. Now is it a card to splash in just any deck, well no, but it can be played in quite a few ways. Its a cool card, interesting art and a decent effect for Stardust Dragon themed decks, other than that, not so much.
