Shine Palace ...

Fun! Especially after just watching the Yu-Gi-Oh throwback this weekend where Pegasus (my favorite character) uses this card for the 1st time. It's a little late to be releasing this, but whatever ... If u are going for your Pegasus theme deck, then go ahead and play this ... Will u be disappointed? - Yes. But will u feel like Pegasus in the process? - I dunno. Maybe. I don't know u. But what I DO know is that at this point in Yu-Gi-Oh, an equip card with a 700 ATK boost for only light monsters and NO other effect to it, just ain't gonna do a lot, and is a general waste of space in your deck. For cards that simply pump a monster up? - Well most people don't play them. But if they did - they would do it to its utmost. And since there are still cards like Axe of Despair out there that will give u +1000 ATK, there is little to no reason to ever have to settle for Shine Palace. An ATK boost in "fancy" form these days comes from Honest, which will much more for your light monsters than Shine Palace ever will.

So yeah. In short? - Forget it.

Shine Palace

This is one of those retro cards that was horrible even when it was one of like 10 equip spells. It is an equip spell, but can only equip to a LIGHT monster, and it gives that guy 700 ATK. Wow. Why not use Axe of Despair, United We Stand, Mage Power, or even Malevolent Nuzzler? Cool only for the fact that Pegasus used it in the show.

Traditional-1/5
Advanced-1/5
Coolness Factor Because Pegasus used it-Priceless

hine Palace:

What a sub-par card. This card is retro, that's cool I suppose. There are many other cards that could have filled this card's slot in Stardust Overdrive though. Sorry so short, but I'll just get hateful if I keep going...
