Karakuri Gold Powder

Now we know just what kind of Merchant Inashichi really is. Sadly for him, the robots don't care for this guy's stash. Basically, it just combines the ATK of your two Karakuri monsters for a combined attack. In short, this is totally useless because Karakuri Showdown Castle means you can kill any monster with 2000 or less DEF with Haipa. This is a card so situational, only Yusei could win with it.

Fun Fact: But they're robots... that doesn't even make sense...
Tomorrow: Another new Duel Terminal theme...

Karakuri Gold Dust is a rather interesting, albeit rather useless, Quick-Play to help keep your Karakuri alive. You select two attack mode Karakuri monsters, and switch one to defense. The other monster then gains ATK equal to the first's ATK. The first thing that comes to mind is attacking with one monster, then switching that one to defense to power up the second.

If you really want to keep your Karakuri monsters winning battles, you may as well just use something like Shrink or United We Stand. At least those require less setup to be effective. The main reasons to use Gold Dust is to trigger effects like Karakuri Steel Shogun mdl 00X "Bureido". You're probably better off using something like Karakuri Cash Cache if that's your goal.
