Dark

Paladin

Continuing the Laval theme, we have Laval Cannon.  Fire, Warrior, Level 4 with attack and defense of 1600 and 900 respectively, which both aren't that great.  Laval Cannon is even simpler than his Handmaiden acquaintance of yesterday.  So long as you have a Laval Monster removed from play, when you Normal or Flip Summon (sadly not Special) Laval Cannon, you can target one of those removed Monsters and Special Summon it.  Potential +1 just for Summoning (again minus Special).  The effect I think is better than you might think, even if you're using the Deck, and maybe it was "SO" good, that it had to have meh attack and defense.

Laval Cannon has great Symmetry with the rest of the Laval theme as well as with Gold Sarcophagus. It is also a Warrior so Reinforcement of the Army can search it out. Use Gold Sarcophagus to remove a tuner monster or a big Laval monster like Laval Judgment Lord to get some real power to the field.

Many of the Laval monsters and support cards get cards to the graveyard and remove them from play so Laval Cannon is the perfect fit in a Laval deck. By using cards like Rekindling, Laval Judgment Lord, Laval Lakeside lady, Laval the Greater, and Laval Stennon you will have plenty of options on which monster you wish to summon with Laval Cannon’s effect.

If you are running a Laval deck, you may want to tech in a Laval Cannon or two.

Laval Cannon is today's card. A level 4 FIRE/Warrior, and weighing in at 1600 ATK and 900 DEF. When he's normal or flipped summoned, you can target one of your banished Laval monsters and special summon it. This is a solid monster with a nice effect. Right away, when I read his effect, Gold Sarcophagus came to mind as a great way to get out some of the bigger Lavals early on, such as Laval Judgement Lord. Or use it on yesterday's card, Laval Handmaiden or Laval Lakeside Lady, then Normal Summon Cannon to get two monsters out and a quick synchro summon. His DEF doesn't hold up against Sangan, so i won't say more about that. 1600 ATK is decent and could get over a few monsters. But his ability to special summon a banished Laval monster, that is pretty good....you could say even game winning.

Advanced: 3.5 *Laval Deck Only*
Tomorrow: Ritual support?
