Friday

Closing the week, we shift from Monster to Magic, with Inzektor Sword-Zektkaliber.  This is an Equip Magic card, which immediately should have a game breaking effect if we're to think of using in a format with triple Mystical Space Typhoon AND Heavy Storm..but as any card vulnerable to that arsenal, we can't just immediately dismiss this card.  Appropriately, this card can only be equipped to an Inzektor Monster, and when done, said Monster gains 800 attack and defense, which is a considerable enough increase.  When face-up on the Field, and sent to the Graveyard, you can select an Inzektor from your Graveyard, and it to your Hand.  That almost, more or less, make this worth playing in the Deck.  That at least ends up being a 1-for-1, maybe potentially more.

I am not a big fan of equip cards because they can be negative 1’s, but Inzektor Sword – Zektaliber replaces itself. It also has the nice little effect of increasing your Inzektor monsters by 800 atk and def. It also fits in nicely with yesterday’s card as you can use it to pump up its attack and defense and use it as one of the cards you send to the graveyard to give yourself a plus 1.

If you have the room for Inzektor Sword then you can try it out for yourself, but like I said, I am not a big fan of equip cards. Enough said!

Inzektor Sword - Zekaliber
Equip Spell
"Equip only to an "Inzektor" monster. It gains 800 ATK and DEF. When this face-up card on the field is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 "Inzektor" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand."

A useful equip spell for the Inzektors, giving a healthy ATK boost and nets you a discarded Inzektor monster when destroyed. Sadly it's an Ultra Rare, but I'd recommend running one or two of this in an Inzektor deck. Sadly, that's the only place it's really useful.
