Today we come to a stronger Fire Fist Monster, in Brotherhood of the Fire Fist-Snake. This is a Level 4, Fire attributed, Beast-Warrior, with a strong 1800 attack and a low 600 defense. Apparently you can't have a high attack and defense, these guys boast one or the other. Snake almost seems counter productive to the Deck, as he lets you set a Fire Formation Trap Card from your Deck if a Fire Formation Magic Card is sent from your Field to the Graveyard. Also once per turn, if you control no other Monsters, you can send two face-up Fire Formation cards you control from the Field to Draw one card. Drawing is good, but that's a -1. You give up the TWO just to Draw ONE. But it is good this guy fetches Traps, instead of Magic Cards. Ultimate Fire Formation-Seito is the Trap of choice to take. There are only a handful of Fire Formation Magic/Trap cards (8 I believe) at present to take, maybe that will change in future sets.

Snake, why did it have to be Fire Fist - Snake. A level 4 FIRE/Beast-Warrior (Not a reptile?) with 1800/600 for ATK and DEF. I can see the purpose of Snake in the deck other than being an 1800 attacker, is being able for him to get out the Fire Formation traps cards and have them set for you to use next turn whenever a faceup Fire Formation Spell/Trap is sent to your graveyard. He can also send two face up Spell/Trap Fire Formation cards you control to the grave to draw a card AND get another Fire Formation trap card from your deck set on your side of the field, that's not bad. It remind me of using Cards of Consonance with White Stone of Legend a little bit. You get to draw a card and set a Fire Formation trap to be used soon. The downside is your opponent will know what to expect and will be able to prepare for it, if they are able to. And the fact that it is a trap card that is being set makes it a prime target for the triple Mystical Space Typhoons and Heavy Storms of the world. So here's hoping yesterday's card is face up on the field to protect whatever you get. Snake is good at what he does, being a decent attacker with a cool little draw engine/search ability built it.
