Continuing to dive into more Hidden Arsenal 7, we open with Infestation Pandemic, a Quickplay Magic card. It's a simple card, with a rather useful ability. During the turn you activate this card, all Swarm Monsters you control are protected from Magic and Trap effects. That's where the Quickplay part becomes a Gem. Your Monsters are still vulnerable to Monster effects, but protection from two out of three, even for a turn, isn't a bad thing. In Swarm, you play two.

This is the last week of Hidden Arsenal before we usher in the newest booster set, Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy. First up is a real winner, seriously it is. Infestation Pandemic is a card that does what it does so well. It's a quickplay spell card, so it can bait out Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm or any other card that can destroy backrows, then chain to it. The turn you activate it, all of your face up Evilswarm *Iswarm* monsters you control are unaffected by other Spells/Traps for the rest of that turn. It can also work when chained to Torrential Tribute/Dark Hole so your opponent will wipe out their own monsters, or use your own to do the same. This card is worth a spot or two in your Evilswarm deck, as it will save your monsters time and time again. The downsides are it getting negated by Solemn Judgment and it doesn't stop monster effects. But that should not stop you from using this card.

Alright!! I’m back now that my summer break has started and am so glad to get back to doing more Card of the Day reviews. So here we go!!! Today we have an important card in Evilswarm decks.

Infestation Pandemic
Quick-play Spell
All face-up "lswarm" monsters you currently control are unaffected by other Spell/Trap effects this turn.

This card is really useful in Evilswarm decks. It is a quick-play spell card that can be chained to most spells or traps, other than counter traps of course. This to protect your monsters from most removal cards like Dimensional Prison, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Dark Hole, etc. It also can be searched out by Evilswarm Ophion. The only issue with this spell card is that it can’t be used in the damage step. Forbidden Lance is a little better than this card because of its versatility, but Pandemic is also has some pros too. It is easily searchable and can create some amazing plays combined with cards like Torrential Tribute. Overall this card is pretty great and should probably be played at three in any Evilswarm deck.
