Pojo's Yu-Gi-Oh! Card of the Day
Daily Since 2002!

Toy Vendor
- #NECH-EN060

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; draw 1 card and reveal it, then if it is a "Fluffal" monster, you can Special Summon 1 monster from your hand. Otherwise, discard the card you drew. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Edge Imp Sabres" or 1 "Fluffal" monster from your Deck to your hand.

It's a +1 engine for the Fluffal deck, searchable by Bear.  It replaces itself by searching when its sent to the graveyard.  Honestly, effects aren't really that original these days and Toy Vendor seems like a lot of other cards that are meant to abuse weak floaters.  This card doesn't give the deck much power or enough card advantage to make up for the fact that most of the monsters are mediocre, but it boosts the consistency a little bit with a "Dark World Dealings esque" effect.  Fluffals haven't been topping ; they're a fun deck.  And this is an important card for them.

Fluffals are the new Battlin Boxers in terms of the common archetype. This is the draw card for them. Discarding 1 to draw one seems pretty costly. Even if you get the Fluffal monster you can Special summon a monster from your hand otherwise you have to discard what you drew. Overall, some pretty costly fodder. If its sent to the graveyard you can search Edge Imp Sabres or a Fluffal from your deck. So the card does float into another which is ok. I really do not like this card except for the search functionaly for a Fluffal or Edge Imps. Sadly I do not see Fluffals being able to compete with the speed or power of the meta either.

Advanced 1/5
