Qliphort Disk
- #NECH-EN024

Pendulum Effect You cannot Special Summon monsters, except "Qli" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. All "Qli" monsters you control gain 300 ATK. Monster Effect You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If this card is Normal Summoned without Tributing or is Special Summoned, its Level becomes 4 and its original ATK becomes 1800. If this card is Normal Summoned/Set, it is unaffected by activated effects from any monster whose original Level/Rank is lower than this card's current Level. When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Qli" monster(s): You can Special Summon 2 "Qli" monsters from your Deck, but destroy them during the End Phase.

Qliphort Disk

This is the big secret rare of the set.  Is this the best Qliphort?  No, but putting Scout at Secret Rare would be plain cruel.  Like Helix and Carrier, I like to pack my Disk in 3's.  Being at Pendulum-1 (instead of Pendulum-9), it doesn't compete for the right-side Pendulum slot against Scout.  And it gives you that signature ATK bonus.

It's a standard 1800 beater, usually, but with Skill Drain out, it's at its full 2800.  With another Disk in the Pendulum, that becomes 3100.  It's a big bulky beater.  Also, being unaffected by <Level/Rank 7 monsters effect makes it tough to deal with.  You could use cards like Raigeki, but it can just come back with a Pendulum Summon.  The best way, perhaps, to deal with this card is to side 3 System Down's.  Pretty much everything I've been saying speaks of most Qliphort monsters, but this is just a slightly stronger version than the others.

If there is no Skill Drain out, it's effect is quite potent.  With 2 tributes, you can Special Summon 2 Qli monsters and OTK the opponent.  But it gets even nastier.  With Saqlifice, you only need 1 tribute and you get to search off Saqlifice too.  It's quite tasty, and expensive.  And your Qliphort deck needs it since they don't have a lot of monsters to begin with.

Qliphort Disk

Starting off the week with the power house of Qliphort. Aside from scout this is the "win condition" of the deck in my opinion. The ability to bring out 2 qliphorts from the grants you 3 amazing feets; deck thinning, the ability to generate aditional damage, and set up your extra deck for further pendulum summons. This card is worth the price that it has had since its release here and I really can't wait to see how much more broken this card becomes with further support.
