Ghostrick Mary

Bloody mary. Bloody mary. Bloody mary. Bloody mary. Put your V8 and celery sticks away because this is about an old Halloween tale is what the card is based off of. Well, I'm assuming it isn't the drink, at least.

The most important thing, or the only important thing, you need to know about this card is that you can discard it to search your deck for any Ghostrick monster and place it face-down on your field. Whichever one you want, and in the exact position you would want it.

Does being contingent on taking battle damage, restrict this card a little bit? Yes. But even with that, it's a valuable searcher. How many other archetype-based searchers in the game can you say give you free pick, are almost guarenteed to get it's effect active, don't require you to waste a summon and are overall conducive to the theme? Not many.

Definitely use more than 1 of her in Ghostricks.

Traditional – 2/5
Advanced – 4/5

Terrorking

No pleasantries. Straight to business we go:

Ghostrick Mary, the latest addition to the Ghostrick batch of monsters. Her effect is plain and simple: it gives you any Ghostrick monster from your deck face-down. Yes, any. Use this. Use three of her, in fact. Her stats (ATK, DEF, Level, Type, and Attribute) are totally irrelevant since most times you'll just be discarding her for her effect. Furthermore, if for some reason you need to, you can just normal summon this card (providing you have a Ghostrick monster) and Xyz summon out Ghostrick Dullahan or any other Rank 1 you wish. So yes, dear reader (my guppies don't play Ghostrick), if you use this archetype you need three of her.

Advanced: 3.5/5
