Satellarknight Vega

Much like the other Satellar monsters, this card is neither original nor well designed.  It's basically another Tin Goldfish clone that we've seen everywhere.  The difference is that it can be summoned via Altair, its a LIGHT/Warrior monster and its a target for Delteros.

You basically use this card with another Satellar monster to XYZ.  It gives you another summon, so if you plus off of Deneb/Altair (and then proceed to XYZ), then this card pays for its own cost.

Every Satellarknight deck should use 1 or 2 Vega's.  3 is too much; 0 too little.  A lot of the one's I've seen have only used one copy.  And this is because Unukalhai can dump him in the graveyard and make him easily accessible.  And he can be easily recycled.

Assessments

Power – 3/5 ; Pretty essential to the deck and basically does what a generic LV4 monster can do for an XYZ spam deck.

Versatility – 4/5 ; You're going to want to XYZ often, and this is one of the cards you'd want in almost any situation.

Dependability – 2/5 ; Low-ish marks here.  It's not self-sufficient.  You need another Satellar to make that XYZ play.

Card Advantage – 2/5 ; It doesn't generate any card advantage, but it could LEAD TO advantage if you XYZ into the right monster for the situation.

Speed – 5/5 ; Effect activates on summon and it speeds up the deck.

The additional summon for Satellars. This card is usually a one of in today's builds and doesn't provide much else other then the quick XYZ summon.

Satellarknight Vega

We continue looking at ‘tellarknights as we look at Satellarknight Vega. Statwise Satellarknight Vega is a LIGHT/Warrior so there is loads of support for him and has 1200 ATK and 1600 DEF while not the best stats it does make him searchable.

Effectwise Satellarknight Vega as a really useful effect for ‘tellarknights, when this card is summoned you can special summon another ‘tellarknight from your hand. Not only does this get you out another monster so you can Xyz summon, but you also get the effect of the summoned ‘tellarknight and if you combo Satellarknight Altair you can easily get out enough material for a 3 material Xyz Monster.

Overall a very powerful card and a must for ‘tellarknight decks.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Satellarknights really start their combos today with Satellarknight Vega. Vega can Special Summon any “tellarknight” from your hand when it is summoned in any fashion. Regardless of which “tellarknight” you Special Summon, you likely will be activating their effect, and will be able to instantly go into a Rank 4 Xyz Summon. If Vega Special Summons Altair, Altair can Special Summon a “tellarknight” from your grave, giving you the chance to Xyz Summon Satellarknight Delteros. Summoner Monk and Vega is another way to Xyz summon Delteros first turn.

Vega may have the weakest ATK of all the current “tellarknights” but its the monster that starts the swarming and combos for the deck and is needed in 3's in the deck. It inherits all the support the other “tellarknights” do, and as long as its effect goes off you will have a Rank 4 possibility, if not more.

A lot of people reading CotD might be new players to the game but for those that are not, we see the "Marauding Captain" of the Satellarknights, Vega. Vega is weaker in statistics than yesterdays review of Alsahm but what he lacks in sheer attack strength he makes up by being a key piece in creating Delteros, the Satellar themed Xyz. Vega's effect is straight forward, when he is summoned, special summon another Satellar from the hand, paired with the biggest satellar currently that is 3000 damage easily dealt but you want to use it to summon tomorrows card to keep the chain of plays and bringing out Delteros going. He's a definite minimum 1 of but you will see players using 2 and I don't disagree with that either. 3 is too cloggy for a 1200 atk monster

Satellarknight Vega

For the third card in our Satellarknight Week, we have a totally-not-Marauding Captain-card, Satellarknight Vega.

Like every other Satellarknight, she(like Deneb) is a level 4 Light Warrior, and gets her effect off of any summoning means. Her stats are less-than desirable, but her defense is alright I suppose. She probably isn't going to be summoned by herself anyways. Searchable by literally everything else that searches Satellarknight monsters.

What she does for the deck can be simplified into two things.  One she enables making 3-material rank 4 monsters, namely Delteros and Ouroboros(and Trihiver in the future).  Secondly, she allows you to make use of excess Satellarknight monsters that might have been accumulated over the course of the duel. In other words, if you draw a Deneb when you already have one in grave and an Altair in hand, she nets you a rank 4 monster using Deneb without even needing to use the Altair. Also, she combos fantastically with Altair, because Altair triggers Vega's effect.

However, unlike most Satellarknights, she alone is very underwhelming.
But she is a very vital piece off the deck, even though you would only play 1-2 of her at most.

Miguel

Satellarknight Vega has one true purpose, to be the tag partner of Altair. Vega allows you to special summon any Tellarknight monster from your hand when it is summoned. This usually leads to Altair and Altair leads to special summoning one from your grave then leads to Stellarknight Delteros. Or vice versa. The stats of Vega don't really matter as it's not meant to battle or stay on the field for too long. Vega is a workhorse in the deck and a must if you're playing them.
