Baneful

It's a simple reactive card, much like what Karma Cut has been for Burning Abyss.  Majespecters search when summoned so they're already paid for (in terms of card advantage).  Tributing them essentially makes this a very good one for one card.  Banishing is good in the Pendulum era, so that monsters don't simply go straight to the extra deck.  It's nice straightforward card.

Dark

Paladin
Majespecter Tornado.  In short, this is a very specific card.  You have to Tribute a Wind, Spellcaster type Monster you control, and then you remove from play one of your opponent's Monsters.  This is a -1 for you, as you lose a Monster, and the Trap itself, remember.  This is decent enough support for a theme though.  Not bad support, just not great either.

Majespecter Tornado fits well in one deck, that being Majespecters. You tribute 1 Wind Spellcaster-type Monster to target and banish 1 opponent's monster. So instantly I notice this wouldn't really work in a Majespecter mirror match because Majespecter monsters cannot be targeted. In pretty much every other matchup you can set this and banish a problem as part of a chain. In that way, it is better than Bottomless Trap Hole. Furthermore, Majespecters are very "searchy" with their cards, so having another good target in their Main Deck is good. Not bad for a Normal Trap, but it would have been better as a Counter Trap.
