It's #4 on my list too, and in our current meta, it's the 2nd best card at the moment.  It was a crucial card during the post-Nekroz era in which Shaddolls/Clowns were winning tournaments but it's doing even better in the Performage format.  Let's review all of the pro points.

1. It protects you from being OTK'ed in battle.
2. It negates/destroys any card which is even capable of inflicting effect damage (It's the best counter right now to Wavering Eyes ; smart players don't play Juggler immediately: they save it for when the opponent activates a Wavering Eyes).
3. It's a LV4 for XYZ plays.
4. It's a Performage, searchable by Plushfire and friends.
5. It's a floater that searches.  No matter how it reaches the graveyard (discarded, milled, destroyed, detached)

I accidentally missed #5 on our Countdown due to my own absent-mindedness. But that’s okay, because #4 is a card that was actually on my personal list! #4 on our Top 10 Countdown is Performage Damage Juggler:

Position on my list: #2

I really think Damage Juggler was the best card of the year aside from the #1 pick, but I’ll settle with an overall rank of #4. Damage Juggler is easily one of the most versatile cards in the game, with three effects that are all extremely useful.

Most notably, Damage Juggler is a hand trap that can either reduce one case of Battle Damage to 0 or negate an effect that would do effect damage and destroy it. The former is far more common than the latter, but the ability to negate effect damage is still a vital effect due to the ability to completely negate Wavering Eyes (since it deals 500 damage). And if that wasn’t enough, Damage Juggler can also banish himself from the Graveyard to add any other Performage from your Deck to your hand.

Damage Juggler is the glue that holds the entire Performage engine together, and given the engine’s sheer versatility and how much it has been splashed since release, Damage Juggler will likely be a target of a future banlist. The OCG has already taken the literal extreme and is set to ban the card in January; while I don’t think that’s entirely necessary, a Limit is looking likely at the very least.

Welcome to the last week of the year 2015! Performage Damage Juggler received a respectable 3.75/5. Personally, I believe that it is the Performage engine as a whole that should place this high on the list. Performage Damage Juggler himself is a respectable and even splashable card in many decks, but not as much as other cards on the list. This card/Performage engine will be around for a while, so get used to that random "you can't game me, I have Damage Juggler in my hand!' I still dig that funky artwork.

Performage Damage Juggler

It's both cute AND life saving! What's not to like about this card? You can only use its effect once, but it can save you from either effect damage or battle damage, but you can't have both and that makes it balanced. You could use its search effect if you're running a pure Performage deck, but if you're just holding onto it for a quick save, then grabbing a second Damage Juggler is just out of the question. I'd side deck at least two of these, just in case.

Score: 4/5 (Versatile, but hard to draw)
