I told you more Nekroz Monsters were coming, as we shift to a Ritual.  Nekroz of Sophia is a Level 11, Light attributed, Spellcaster Monster, with a grandiose 3600 attack and 3400 defense, so she will be able to take out about everything.  Any Nekroz Ritual Magic card can Special Summon her, as you should be familiar with by now.  She's tricky though, you have to use three Monsters you control (so from the Field, and they must all be different types.  Additionally, she cannot be Special Summoned in other ways, so if she gets to Field, protect, and win quickly so she's not a big waste of resources.  The first effect here is beautiful...by discarding this card and a Nekroz Magic Card, your opponent isn't able to Special Summon from the Extra Deck during this Phase...this must be done only during either your or your opponent's Main Phase 1.  But, bigger than that, when Ritual Summoned, you can remove from play ALL other cards on the Field, and in both Graveyards. That's rather crippling to your opponent if they're playing about any Tier 1 Deck, isn't it?  That makes her a lot better mid to late game too of course, and very likely (depending on the Hand of your opponent) can win you a game with a 3600 direct attack.  If you use this effect, you can't Normal Summon, Set, or even Special Summon during that turn.  So you can't swarm for the all but guaranteed victory.  The Summoning is a bit of a hoop, and she works in Nekroz or her own constructed build.  But you get her out, she can and should win you a game.

Baneful

Requires 4 cards to summon, including 3 different types of monsters.  Doubtful that it's banishing effect would even begin to compensate for this, in addition to the fact that it wrecks your graveyard too.  Too costly and situational. The discard effect of preventing the opponent from Special Summoning would've been good if it didn't require you to -2 yourself.  A superfluous 3600 ATK doesn't make up for these problems.  Oh, and it comes with a summoning gag order as well at the very end of it's effect.  How lovely.

This card is garbage.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Another Nekroz Ritual monster appears and it is one that I've been axiously awaiting. Nekroz of Sophia takes her name and armor from the effect monster “Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth”.

Nekroz of Sophia is probably the hardest “Nekroz” monster to summon, as you cannot summon her in any way besides using 3 monsters with different Types. She is the strongest of the “Nekroz” monsters, and will lend support to any other Nekroz once in the grave or in the hand.

Discarding her and a “Nekroz” spell to prevent Main Phase 1 Special Summons from your opponent will stop them from pressing forward. They will still be able to Special Summon during Main Phase 2, but won't be able to attack and will likely stop short from using all their resources since their attack isn't there.

When Ritual Summoned, you have a choice to banish all other cards on the field and in the graveyards of both players. If you choose this, you cannot summon, set, or Special Summon during the turn. This means you already have to have the 3 monsters for Sophia to be summoned with. Nekroz Decks typically don't Special Summon during their opponents turn. If you can pull this effect off you will have a clear shot at your opponents LP and with a 3600ATK monster none-the-less. If you don't intend to use this effect, then you can Special Summon her easily by swarming the field with monsters (not only Nekroz) and then summon her with any “Nekroz” Ritual Spell.
