Dark Maltos's Dueling Dome
Ultimate Tyranno OTK

August 18, 2006

Ideas like this come to me sometimes. Piercing Punishment was one of them, and so was that pretty sweet Hex series that I’m going to have to put on hiatus in light of this new ban list that yes WAS confirmed yesterday !!! Luckily enough, yours truly was the 1st on the scene. In light of this, the Hex series of 3 will unfortunately, as just said, be offline for a while. I don’t think it suits this list. A few strategies are offline now to be honest, and I’m struggling to find the next deck to run since Spell caster fell on its face. Anyway, on with my kill strategy.

I can’t do my usual thing of telling you the cards, then the strategy with this one. You just wouldn’t get it. So I’m forced to show you this simple equation :

Ultimate Tyranno + Final Attack Orders + Ojama Trio = GG

Fairly simple, and quite beautiful. I started a thread on this on the forums, and with the replies I got I will attempt to construct this awesome, yet simple idea. So lets look ast the backbone behind it :

Ultimate Tyranno :

Immensely powerful, immensely cool, and relatively new. The backbone and figurehead of the deck. With his 3000 attack power and the ability to attack all monsters on the opponents sides of the field, he could easily be combined with a few noted cards to hit them for a minimum of 9000 damage, which as I’m sure you all know = GG. The only downsides to this strategy are the fact that he is a 2 tribute monster, and that a well placed Ring of destruction or the like will knock him down quicker than you can say n00b. Lets try and find a way around this shall we?

Ojama Trio :

These are the most annoying tokens in the game. Relatively powerful a card anyway, with this it ensures the opponent will have 3 monsters with low stats for you to run right over. When combined with final attack orders you can hit them hard for 9000 easy, plus 900 through their own burn strategy. You gotta love Math.

Final Attack Orders ; Not necessarily the backbone of the deck, just the concept behind it. Switch the opposing monsters into attack and strike. Other cards do this as well, which we’ll go into later.

The main problem with the deck is the fact that Tyranno is a two tribute monster. So what can we do to dodge this?

Well arguably Mausoleum of the Emperor is the best one out there.

By paying 2000 lp you can make Tyranno hit the field for no tribute. Thereby making this an easy 4 card combo. Being a field spell, you can also search it with Terraforming making it even more reliable. A definite must if this is to happen.

Gilasaurus is another great way of getting monsters quickly to your side of the field, as well as niftily providing the opponent with the option of getting their own monster. More fuel for the onslaught I suppose. He’s also a dinosaur, which keeps it to theme I guess.

Another card that springs to mind is Cyber Dragon, who nicely provides tribute fodder, as well as being a very solid monster in its own right, as im sure you all agree.

Trojan Horse is a FAIRLY decent way of making Tyranno a 1 tribute monster, although it arguably isn’t very good with weak stats and limited survival potential.

Brain Control fits nicely I suppose, helping the tribute cost for a minimal price.

A cat of ill omen is a great way of searching out the required traps, and with Nobleman at 1 we’re pretty safe with it.

Wind storm of the Etaqua is a great alternative way of changing the battle position of the Ojamas and isn’t prone to s/t removal, final Attack orders only short coming.

Giant Trunade ensures the safety of Tyranno’s attack, a vital component in this decks success. Cards like this , Breaker and Dust Tornado will prove essential. The only flaw s final attack orders being continuous, but that wont matter in the long run, you should end them right there and then.

Big Bang Shot : When you can’t hit their attack monsters, nail their defences. Big Bang shot should hit them hard anyway.

Magical Mallet and the like should greatly help out this deck for its first turn kill purposes. Adding some speed to the deck.

Ring of destruction would have gone in anyway, but I just thought I’d mention the potential with this anyway.
So lets try for the deck shall we?

Monsters : 15

Ultimate Tyranno (x3)
Cyber Dragon (x2)

A cat of ill omen (x3)
Gilasaurus (x3)
Breaker the Magical Warrior

Traps ;
