Dark Paladin's Yu-Gi-Oh! Dimension
Dark Paladin's 138th Article Spectacular!
January 16, 2008

Note: This article contains only 23% new information! (Not a significant source of new information--USA Today)

First off, let's give 138,000 cool points to anyone who got the reference of that, and the title of today. Yes, once again, it's been entirely too long since I've written anything, and I apologize. This is really a year in review of 2007, the highs, the lows, the good, the bad, and so on.

Let's start with the good things:

The release of such awesome cards as Marshmallon, The Gold Sarcophagus, Dark Magic Curtain, Light and Darkness Dragon, Magical Stone Excavation, Shield Crush, Raiza the Storm Monarch, Crush Card Virus, and Shrink, and the three Gadgets, just to name some good ones.

The best overall card we got this year, I'm going to have to go with Marshmallon. It was long anticipated, and everyone is ecstatic about it finally being state side.

What was the best set this year? It's really hard to pick just one, but Strike of Neos was awesome with the Six Samurai, but Gladiator's Assault was pretty sweet with the Gladiator Beasts and both sets were very solid as a whole.

As for worst set...Power of the Duelist wasn't anything special, and Force of the Breaker wasn't that great, but it did give us Raiza along with the sweet Crystal Beast monsters.

I'd like to throw some props out to UDE and Konami for doing a great job with the promos and Premium Packs and other cards they tossed out at us, that I previously mentioned.

It was another good year for the Structure Decks, including the coveted Machine Revolt Deck. So in short, the year was pretty good. If this can keep up, I believe duelists will stay interested, but we're just a handful of weeks from a new Ban List...which is always important. I'll chime in with my thoughts on that a little closer to time.

Well, that does it for today, and I hope you enjoyed it! As always, if you need anything, please feel free to contact me with anything @ tsearcy@lssu.edu

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

~Dark Paladin~
