MOFOX’S DECK EVOLUTION SERIES

Your Playtest Team

The Deck Evolution Series has stalled of late due to my inability to put more time into the game that I love.  In case any of you have forgotten what it was about find below links to previous articles:

However I am starting it up again and have contacted the selected members of the playtest team who seem up for it.  It won’t be as organised as I originally planned and I have cut down the number of decks to 2.  One will be a secret deck that the team will be working on behind the scenes and will unveil it when the time is right.  The other deck will be the one that this series will focus on and that is a burn deck.  We will over the course of time start to build a deck from scratch.  You will find out how we sourced information on cards, how we made the decision to include or exclude cards, explain how cards work together and how cards also don’t work together.  The eventual aim is that you will learn along with me how to build good competitive decks and I will kit you up with deck building principals that will allow you to go away and construct your own great decks.

So firstly I will introduce the members of the playtest team.  These are the chosen few and they are described below, with the reasons for their choice.  For all those who did not made it please don’t take it personally.  I received over 125 applications and of the 125 I managed somehow to narrow it down to 15-20 then I have spent the past 2 days deliberating over whom I should choose.  Anyway the decision has been made, I’m fairly confident that I have picked the right people (it is difficult to judge just from a single email) and here they are Pojo’s Deck Evolution Series Playtest Team.

So stick with me on this one guys, normally I like to have an idea of where I am taking something, you know have a journey mapped out.  With this though I am going to let it roll and see how it develops.  Look out next week for the first instalment where I introduce to you Burn and explain to you what it means.

My email address is mofox9@hotmail.co.uk email me for any help or advice or even your opinions on my articles.  I would love to hear your opinions and if you have any suggestions to improve them then let me know.  I will reply to all emails that are sent to me.  Remember newbies no question is a stupid question.

Until next time fellow duellists!
