Tournament Prizes:
First Place: 3 packs of Choice
Second Place: 2 packs of choice
Third Place: 1 pack of choice

This morning was my first day off from work all weekend so I was already in an excellent mood when I woke up. I had made plans with Joe to meet each other at the tournament today. I asked my parents if it was all right to go. They said sure and gave me sixteen dollars to spend. I would have to owe them of course. Realizing that my freshly made Dark Magician of Chaos Deck would not cut it today, I decided to remake my "Deck of the Dead" which I had for the regional in Butler, PA. I put the deck together while watching "Grease." Well...here it is. Enjoy!

Total Deck Cards:40

I get to the shop with a couple minutes to spare. I signed up for the tourney and the beautiful girl behind the counter gave me a pack of Magic Ruler for entering. I pulled a Mother Grizzley and my buddy Joe came over to greet me and another Dan. (Total Number of Dan's at the tournament...3) For the remainder of the time, everyone just sat around the cramp play area with awkward kid tables and chatted. Joe told me about one of our friends, Arty, was grounded the night before and was unable to attend today. Joe also requested that I let him borrow my BlowBack Dragon for his Machine deck. Before all of the annoying kids drove us insane, the beautiful Siren of Learning Express came and paired us up. The tournament is Single Match Elimination in tournament brackets. I was paired up with a really cool kid with Dreads. We introduce each other and it turns out he was the third Dan!

First Round Eliminations:
Deck of the Dead (Myself) VS. Fire/level Two or I'll destroy you Deck (Dan #3)
After we settled the entire Dan thing...*grumbles*...We started the duel.
Duel 1
Lifepoints:
Myself:8000-6000(Injection Boost)
Dan#3:8000-5300-2900-400-0

Duel 2
Lifepoints:
Myself:8000
Dan#3:8000-6000-5000-4900-3700-1700-0

Major Key points:
I remember activating Change of Heart on a face down Magician of Faith so I was able to activate it again on his other face down monster. He did not pull any major threats on me. He did a nice combo with a Man-Eater and Heart of Clear Water. However, I drew a Mystical Space Typhoon and destroyed it. I got Vampire Lord out to thin his traps a bit in the second duel. Skilled Dark Magician was a major part of the second duel as I drew both of them in the first hand. We shook hands and complimented him on his deck. I thought it was very original and I wanted to see it work. After the match, we talked about his deck and how he was going to fix it up. I hope it works. :D

First Round Elimination Results:

My buddy Joe had to go against his own father, Vic, for the first round. Vic (No last names here except mine!!!) runs an awesome Warrior Deck that rocks often! Although, the valiant Warriors failed to short-circuit the Machine Monsters Joe runs. Joe moved on to the Semi finals.
Quick Note: The one side of the bracket was larger than the other because of an odd number of people.
Luckily...I too was on the smaller side of the bracket so I thought I was guaranteed packs. While the left side of the bracket continued to a second elimination round, I went to the Semi Finals against my buddy Joe! The leader of the annoying gang of ankle bitters,Steve, won against one of his cronies and the second Dan also won. Another kid got a bye and a friendly 18+ year old named Chris won against another gang member.

Semi Finals/Second Round Eliminations:
Deck of the Dead (Myself) VS. Chaotic Alphabet (Joe)
Joe has been one of my best buddies since we met in October playing Yu-Gi-Oh! at the Wizards Gathering (inside joke, don't fret).
Duel 1
Lifepoints:
I lost the life points...sorry
Me:8000-0
Joe:8000-5000?

Duel 2
Lifepoints:
I lost the life points again...sorry
Me:8000-3000?
Joe:8000-0

Duel 3
Lifepoints:
What do you think?
Me:8000-0
Joe:8000-1000?

Major Key Points:
These...Duels...were....stressful! After I would destroy a machine, they would come back to haunt me some how. He often would use them for Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End and Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning. My Ryo Kokki's helped me a bit in the first duel, and won it for me in the second duel. The third duel was embarrassing for me. I forgot to play Imperial Order when Joe played Limiter Removal on borrowed Blowback Dragon and I pumped up Injection Fairy Lily to only take 3200 points of damage anyway. It was close. Chaos Emperor Dragon -Envoy of the End won it for Joe in the end.

Semi Finals/Second Round Elimination Results:

Joe advanced to the finals and sat around and waited for everyone else to finish. Chris dueled against Dan#2 and won. Steve won against the kid with the bye and dueled Chris for the semi finals. Chris owned the duel and made fun of the kid! Chris is so awesome! The finals were between Joe and Chris and the third/fourth place match was between me and Steve. Steve talked trash to me saying he was going to win and he was going to beat me because he feels like it. Well, I just sat there and shuffled my deck. I laughed because my zombies had it with this punk. The store clerk came over and told us that fourth place does not get anything in this tourney.
Third/Fourth Placing Match:

Duel 1
Lifepoints:
Me:8000-6100-6000-4000-2500-2000-1700
Steve:8000-9200-6800-4400-3200-4400-2500-0

Duel 2
Lifepoints:
Me:8000-7500-5500-5400-3000
Steve:8000-6100-0

Major Key Points:
These duels were so much fun! In the first duel alone, I restarted the duel about 5 times with my Fiber Jar. Steve was so angry about it; however, he would cut the deck every time so it wasn't my fault :D His deck was annoying just like him. He had cards like The End of Anubis and he would often equip Fairy meteor Crush to it and attack my defense monsters. He finally activated Drop Off when I drew Fiber Jar and he danced in his seat. The first duel took longer than the second duel because of Fiber Jar. We butted heads and finally my monsters prevailed against his.
Final Standings:
First place:Joe
Second place:Chris
Third place:Myself

I traded a bit a got my hands on a Freed the Matchless General I needed for my warrior deck that I want to build. I traded Chris for my Mask of Restrict and a traded some little kid my Guardian Gnarl for a Ring of Destruction. So, I waited around for my Dad to come pick me up and just sat around and talked with everyone. We made plans to go to Otakon this year! Yay! My dad picked me up and I bid everyone farewell. I got home to find a pack of AST on my bed from my mom for report cards. \/\/007! I made some changes to my deck and subbed out Nobleman of Crossout for Ring of Destruction.
