(Originally I had 3 Accursed Centaurs in there, but I removed them when they 
didn't work out after the first match.)

Round 1 vs. Joe (0-0)
Joe seemed to be playing an elf/beast deck from the draft.  With a couple of 
kill creatures and the pestering festering goblin, I quickly got my two needed 
wins out of him with much less than a scratch.  
Games 2-0    Matches 1-0

Round 2 vs. Kid with lisp (1-0)
I had no clue to what this kid was doing.  It was a green/blue deck, but had 
some odd and absurd creature choices.  After getting these problems out of 
the way, I marched through with zombies, and occasional clerics to help them out. 
 He barely did any damage to me, so I moved on without too much trouble.
Games 4-0   Matches 2-0  

Round 3 vs. Sterling (2-0)
Now I was worried.  He was undefeated, and the previous week's winner in type 2. 
 At first his deck didn't seem like much, but he soon got a lightning rift and began
 cycling away.  I managed a few kill creature spells to stall him, but it was to no avail. 
 I managed some slight stall with withering hex, but the rift killed me out.  In game 2,
 no rift appeared.  He never got a creature with my good draws and creature destruction.  
I took this game. The third game was much like the first with the rift mowing down my creatures.  
Games 5-2   Matches 2-1

Round 4 vs. Alex (1-1) w/ bye since the lisp kid left early
The only fear I had of this deck was the Akroma he pulled in a draft.  Luckily, not enough 
mana was deployed, and he had a taste of my fear.  Once again festering goblin came through 
with a bunch of kill creatures and other creatures.  I even got out my hollow Specter once 
in awhile.  I crushed the first game, but somehow he shut me down second, plus I had poor draws. 
 He took the game.  Now I began to get worried about my chances of second.  I took the last game 
fairly easily, but was worried since he did have Akroma in his hand and seemed cocky about it. 
 O well, too bad for him.
Games 7-3   Matches 3-1

Round 5 vs. Sterling (3-0)    (Finals)
Well I knew I was secured second upon entry, so I had that going for me.  That was about all, though.  
With rifts pulled both games, my hope was lost, even after taking him to 8 in the 2nd game.  He killed 
me with a little trick with elves that I didn't like.  Fair enough, 2 packs are cool.  
Games 7-5   Matches 3-2

I did pull a symbiotic wurm in one of them :)

Next week - Type 2; If I do good enough, I'll post.
