Okay .... here is some stuff I learned today.
I took notes all day long, so this is posted
with no rhyme or reason:

Two new structure decks are
coming out in Early Feb 2005. One is
"Dragon's Roar". The second is "Zombie
Madness". Both of these decks are designed
for the Advance Format. Both are very
playable right out of the box. There are a
lot of really good rare cards in these decks.
I got to playtest them, and freaked at the high
quality of rare cards that will become common
fodder boys.
There is one new ultra rare card in each deck.
All others are reprints.
The boxes will not have YuGiOh anime characters
on them for the first time ever. No clear
window, but really cool monsters on the cover.

Focus for this CCG is moving away
from the anime characters, and more towards the
monsters

Two Master Collection Volumes
will come out in 2005. Each is a portfolio which
includes 1 pack of each set, plus 6 variant art
cards. One will be Gold ... the other will
be platinum.

No sets are being retired yet.

The March 2005 Booster expansion
is "Flaming Eternity". More fusion
monsters in this set. It includes the
"Sacred Phoenix of Nephtys". A monster
that can return to the field from the ashes of
the graveyard. This set will also have
more LV card versions. Some for Gearfried
and another Joey card.

Hobby Stores will have 14 Ultimate Rares, while
Retail stores will only have 11.

There will be no more Secret
Rares

Dark Revelation comes out in Late
March. (2nd 1/2 of Ph. Guardian through
Dark Crisis cards). Pojo's Card Breakdown:

In Mid-May 2005, there will be
two more structure decks. Water & Fire.
Not named yet.

Early June 2005 will be "The Lost
Millennium" booster expansion. Sneak
preview will be 5/28

New Duelist League in January
2005. 100 new stamps. 100 new pins. New
Book of challenges. 3 new posters. 3

The new pin looks like the Millennium rod.
Over 2 years, you will be able to earn all 7
Millennium items.

Yugioh has an online TCG in
December. Upper Deck has NOTHING TO DO
WITH IT though.

Yugioh Worlds will be in Japan in
2005.

The Shonen Jump TCG Championships
are considered a bigger event than a regional.

The Hobby League will have twice
as many prizes in 2005.
-
There may be a Scholarship series
in 2005 for kids 17 & Under.

The Yugioh National Championships
might take place at Origins in 2005.
